Wettability of gold by molten (Li+Na), (Li+K) and (Li+Na+K) carbonate eutectic systems has been measured by sessile-drop method, as relevant to the problem of adhesion at the molten electrolyte/solid interfaces in molten carbonate fuel cell. The parameters determined and the literature surface tension data have been used for calculation of the adhesion work parameters for interfaces under study.
