Artykuł zawiera zagadnienia związane z rozwojem transportu lotniczego, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem struktury i wyposażenia lotnisk. Zwrócono uwagę na zagrożenia do jakich dochodzi na lotniskach i przykłady zdarzeń powstałych podczas ruchu lotniczego. Wskazano na możliwość realizacji i potrzebę monitoringu transportu pasażerskiego do celów odtwarzania przebiegu zdarzeń zaistniałych na terenie lotnisk.

The article contains issues related to the development of air transport with special consideration of the structure and infrastructure (equipment) of airports. Attention was paid to threats occurring at airports and examples of occurrences happening in air traffic. The possibility of accomplishing and need for passenger transport monitoring were indicated in order to reconstruct the course of air travel occurrences.

The paper presents the developed multispectral optoelectronic aircraft landing assistance and data transmission system for flight control. The purpose of the system is to provide information about the landing aircraft (in the day, at night and in the haze), such as the location of the aircraft in the runway axis, altitude, distance to touchdown and the condition of the plane components like landing gear etc. The system employs two infrared cameras working in spectral range of 3-5 µm and 8-12 µm and a video camera module. The system was tested in laboratory and in the field.
