W pracy przedstawiono rezultaty badań eksploatacyjnych w zakresie zużycia eksploatacyjnego zespołu cylindrowego silnika tłokowego lotniczego dużej mocy podczas prób na stanowisku hamownianym. Przedmiotem weryfikacji był prototyp silnika z wytworzonymi warstwami przeciwzużyciowymi na elementach silnika i zmianami konstrukcyjnymi w stosunku do seryjnych jednostek ASz-62IR. Badania prowadzone w trakcie próby długotrwałej [370 h] obejmowały pomiary drgań i parametrów funkcjonalnych oraz badania metrologiczne i materiałowe. Uzyskany wzrost sprawności mechanicznej i mocy oraz spadek zużycia paliwa i poziomu drgań potwierdził zasadność wprowadzonych zmian konstrukcyjno-technologicznych.

It the paper there are presented the results of experiments examining the operation wear of aircraft's high power cylindrical piston engine. The tests were conducted at the engine test house in order to verify the prototype of the engine with the anti-wear coatings covering some parts as well as with structural changes compared to serial Asz-62IR type. The test has been conducted during long-lasting trial (i.e. 370 h) and included measurements of vibration and functional parameters of the engine. After tests and disassembly of the engine the metrological and material examination took place. The results show the increase of mechanical efficiency and power as well as decrease of fuel consumption and level of vibration and in this way confirmed the legitimacy of introduced structural and technological changes.
