The paper presents the developed multispectral optoelectronic aircraft landing assistance and data transmission system for flight control. The purpose of the system is to provide information about the landing aircraft (in the day, at night and in the haze), such as the location of the aircraft in the runway axis, altitude, distance to touchdown and the condition of the plane components like landing gear etc. The system employs two infrared cameras working in spectral range of 3-5 µm and 8-12 µm and a video camera module. The system was tested in laboratory and in the field.

W artykule przedstawiono wyniki realizacji fazowego, sumacyjno-różnicowego dyskryminatora kąta, będącego integralną częścią interferometru mikrofalowego opracowanego na potrzeby systemu wspomagającego lądowanie samolotów TLS (ang. Transponder Landing System). Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na wybór odpowiedniej struktury funkcjonalnej tego dyskryminatora w celu zapewnienia dużej liniowości jego charakterystyki pelengacyjnej i zmniejszenia wrażliwości na różne czynniki zewnętrzne. Podano przykład rozwiązania konstrukcyjnego dyskryminatora zrealizowanego w technice niesymetrycznej linii paskowej.

The article presents the results of the implementation of the sum-difference phase discriminator, which is an integral part of the microwave interferometer working as a part of aircraft landing support system TLS (Transponder Landing System). Particular attention was paid to the choice of an appropriate functional structure of the discriminator in order to ensure high linearity of its pelengation characteristic and reduced susceptibility to various external factors. An example of design solution was build in asymmetric stripline.
