Transport towarów drogą lotniczą rozwija się w ostatnim okresie dość dynamicznie. Dotyczy to również ładunków o dużych wymiarach i znacznej masie. Szczególnie można to zauważyć w obszarze działań związanych z budową międzynarodowych inwestycji. Przemieszczanie dużych elementów obiektów inwestycyjnych oraz urządzeń technologicznych wpisuje się na stałe w usługi realizowane transportem lotniczym. Z uwagi na znaczny koszt przewozu tego typu ładunków, każda operacja transportowa musi być logistycznie przygotowana w sposób zapewniający maksymalne wykorzystanie środków finansowych oraz czasu. W ramach projektu Oversize Baltic przeanalizowano możliwości realizowania przewozów ładunków ponadnormatywnych (ŁPN) drogą lotniczą wykorzystując infrastrukturę transportową państw nadbałtyckich.

The freight service with the air route is developed in the last term dynamically enough. This refers also loads about large measurements and to the considerable mass. Especially one can this notice in the area of connected activities with the build of international investments. The displacement of large elements of investment projects and technological devices enrolls for keeps into services realized with the air transport. In consideration of the considerable carriage of this type of loads, every transportive operation must be logistically prepared impromptu assuring the maximum utilization of financial means and the time. Within the framework of the project Oversize Baltic one analyzed possibilities of realizing of transports of oversized loads (OL) with the air route using the transportive infrastructure of Baltic states

Artykuł dotyczy zagadnień związanych z przewozem ładunków ponadnormatywnych drogą powietrzną. Wzrost tego typu ładunków transportem lotniczym wzrasta wraz z globalizacją gospodarki światowej. W artykule przeanalizowano specyfikę układu samolot – rodzaj ładunku – zasięg transportu – czas transportu. Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na możliwość świadczenia tego rodzaju usług w polskich portach lotniczych. Za podstawę wzrostu wykorzystania transportu lotniczego dla przewozu ładunków ponadnormatywnych uznano czas, zasięg, niezawodność i bezpieczeństwo przekładające się na punktualne dostawy oraz zmniejszenie liczby dostaw. W Polsce do transportu ładunków ponadnormatywnych na duże odległości wykorzystywane są samoloty typu Ił – 76 oraz An –124. Przeprowadzone analizy pozwoliły dokonać wstępnego wyboru czynników, które mogą stanowić bazę do dalszych badań.

(The article refers connected problems with the air transport of oversized goods. Raising a subject was justified with the rising number of cartages of these goods. The transport of this type of goods of air transport grows up together with the globalization of the world economy. A specificity of the arrangement was analyzed the plane - the kind of the load - the range of the transport - the time of the transport. In the article one paid particular attention on the possibility of the service of this type of loads in Polish airports. The basic reason of the height of the meaning of the air transport in the transport of oversized loads one acknowledged the time, the range, the reliability and the safety of the transport, shifting himself directly on the punctual of deliveries and the decrease of haulages. In Poland, the IL-76 and AN-124 are often used as the solutions for outsize cargo that needs to be transported on medium or long haul flights. Conducted analyses allowed to effect the preliminary selection of factors, which can constitute the base of another study.
