At work an organization of the system for protection of hop production against Pseudoperonospora humuli Miyabe & Takah. in Powiśle area of the Lublin region was presented. An automatic meteorological station located in the neighbourhood of plantation and the program Prog-Chmiel for the giving recommendations of the need of the treatment are the main element of the system. The trials carried out in 2004-2006 showed a possibility of considerable limiting the number of treatments with respect to the standard method of the protection. The use of the system resulted lowering costs of the protection of hops plantation and lower environment pressure.
