The using of adsorption processes is a very good method for water purification from fluoride ions due to its high effectiveness and simple application. The adsorption properties of activated carbon and modified activated carbon were compared. Modification process was carried out by using manganese chloride and potassium permanganate. It was proved that the pH of adsorption process plays a key role in the fluoride removal from aqueous solutions.
