W artykule zaprezentowano zmodernizowany tabor do transportu bimodalnego wykonany w oparciu o rozwiązania konstrukcyjne opracowane w Instytucie Pojazdów Szynowych w Poznaniu. Przedstawiono drugą generację konstrukcji zespołów pociągu bimodalnego: adaptera środkowego, adaptera końcowego, wózka z układem hamulcowym oraz skrzyniowej naczepy bimodalnej. Opisano zakres wykonanych badań prototypu pociągu, przeprowadzonych w Polsce oraz w Niemczech.

The modernized rolling stock for the bimodal transport performed basing on the constructional solutions worked out in the Rail Vehicles Institute in Poznań is presented in this article.The second generation of the construction of the bimodal train sets: the central adapter, the end adapter, the bogie with braking system and the bimodal box car-trailer is presented. The rangę of performed tests of the train prototype carried out in Poland and in Germany is described.

W artykule zaprezentowano rozwiązanie konstrukcyjne adaptera środkowego i skrajnego zastosowane w prototypie taboru do transportu bimodalnego. Opisano konstrukcję adapterów oraz urządzeń zabudowanych na adapterach, jak również konstrukcję wózka kolejowego typu 6TN i 6TN/1 oraz naczepy skrzyniowej wchodzących w skład prototypu pociągu bimodalnego. Przedstawiono wyniki analiz kinematycznych przejazdu pociągu przez minimalny łuk, rampę promową oraz nieckę toru. Ponadto dokonano oceny zalet polskiego rozwiązania na tle znanych rozwiązań zagranicznych taboru do transportu bimodalnego.

In this article the costructional solution of the control and ended adapters which are used in the prototype of rolling stock for bimodal transport is l it is described. The construction of the adapters and devices built in adapters, and also the construction of the railway bogy of the type land 6TN/1 and the construction of the coffer trailer entered into the composition of the bimodal train prototype. The results of kinematic analysis of running the train through the minima! , ferry ramp and train trough arę presented. Moreover, it is estimated the advantages of Polish solutions against a background of the known foreign solutions of rollng stock for the bimodal transport.
