Elastyczność i wielofunkcyjność wnętrz architektonicznych ma duże znaczenie w dobie dynamicznie rozwijającej się sytuacji ekonomiczno-społecznej. Zwiększająca się mobilność, migracje w obrębie regionów, państw i kontynentów napędzają zapotrzebowanie na rozwiązania zmienne, które łatwo dostosować do wymagań użytkowników. Dodatkowo pandemia COVID-19 i konieczność wprowadzenia dystansu społecznego stawiają nowe wyzwania przestrzeniom zamieszkania. Ich funkcja zaczęła znacznie wykraczać poza prywatny wymiar sfery domowej. W tekście przedstawiono autorską systematykę podatności na zmiany przestrzeni architektonicznej w procesie projektowania wnętrz. Projekty studenckie wykonane na Wydziale Architektury Politechniki Poznańskiej i Mediolańskiej stanowią działanie eksperymentalne, które potwierdziło słuszność założeń.

The flexibility and multifunctionality of architectural interiors is of great importance in the era of dynamic economic and social situation. Increasing mobility, migrations within regions, countries and continents drive the demand for variable solutions - which are easy to adapt to user requirements. In addition, the COVID-19 pandemic and the need to introduce social distancing create new challenges for living spaces. Their function began to go far beyond the private dimension of the home sphere. The text presents author’s original systematics of space susceptibility to changes in interior design, which was supported by student projects made at the Faculty of Architecture of the Poznań and Milan Universities of Technology.

Ukazane zostały nowoczesne sprzęty ułatwiające funkcjonowanie osoby na wózku we własnym mieszkaniu oraz innowacyjne rozwiązania, które wprowadza się na Polski rynek np. nowoczesne wzornictwo w sprzęcie łazienkowym i kuchennym dla niepełnosprawnych.

Modern equipment to facilitate the functioning of a person in a wheelchair in his own apartment. Innovative solutions that are incorporated into the Polish market for example, modern design in hardware for kitchens and bathrooms for the disabled.

There are two important aspects in desingning new mental healths facilities. First, we need a fresh look to management of both design and construction processes. Second, the response of an architect has reached new dimensions for the reason of the size and complexuty of new work. Health facilities demonstrate these changes more clearly than some other buildings. Partly because of the increasing penetration of the public client into programming and design development and partly because of the rapidly changing medical techniques. As transquilizers and others modes of therapy permit a more truly psychiatric interchange between physician and patient, rehabilitation becomes major activity replacing the mainly custodial care of former programs. Hence, a new series of many rehabilitation centers and similar buildings has been developed for the New York system. The article describes some aspects of public improvement through management and money for architecture in the area of New York State.

An articles descibes some problems of disabled people in relation to the society - after all 25% of whole society consist of more or less vulnerable groups. "Society for all" means remembering of various problems of an accessibility. The main objective of this article is to characterize some extraordinary realizations, made for the benefit of people with several kinds of disabilities. First example is from Sweden, exactly from the city of Filipstad, with main aspect of the participation of organisations for disabled in local decisions. The second is from Danish town Fredericia with its pilot program of urban adaptations. Last example is from England and shows some characteristic features of english to provide space for all citizens, including people with disabilities and we must ensure that ideas of adaptable spaces become common norms which inform expectations and design processes
