The algebraic formulae, determinative the active mass of the high explosive (HE) into the wedge shaped charge have been derived in the presented paper. Influence of the casing and liner inertia of the wedge cumulative warhead as well as of the liner shape on the active mass of the HE have been analysed. The presented simple formulae may be used by the engineers at the designing of the optimums shaped charges.

The influence of casing and liner inertia of the wedge cumulative war-head on a displacement velocity of their explosively driven elements and on the explosive active mass has been analysed in this paper. The simple algebraic formulae was derived to estimate the displacement velocity of the casing and liner elements, and of the explosive active mass. The results of the theoretical calculations, obtained by the aid of these formulae, are in agreement with the experimental data.

W pracy zbadano wpływ inercyjności obudowy i wkładki klinowego ładunku kumulacyjnego na prędkości przemieszczania się wybuchowo napędzonych ich elementów oraz na masę aktywną materiału wybuchowego. Wyprowadzono proste algebraiczne wzory pozwalające szacować, z wystarczającą dla celów technicznych dokładnością, wartości wymienionych parametrów (ul, uc i ma). Uzyskane wyniki obliczeń teoretycznych są zgodne z danymi eksperymentalnymi podawanymi w dostepnej literaturze.
