Redundant methods for increasing the resilience of action chain

Resilience has become an important topic on the safety research agenda and in organizational practice. A particularly important issue from the security point of view of any chain of action is to increase the reliability of the security chain. At this point, it is possible to apply methods characteristic of the theory of reliability of technical devices in the phases: composition, implementation and application. The subject of this research is the phase of application (operation) of the chain of action and methods of increasing its resistance to anomalous situations using the principle of redundancy. The main research problem is expressed by complementary question of a praxeological nature: what methods of increasing the resilience of the chain of action in the application phase can be distinguished in the application of the principle of redundancy? The author used the strategy of theory prior to research and deductive reasoning based on inference and the classical principle of analogy, opposites and completeness. The following types of redundancy were distinguished and described by the author: structural, functional, parametric, informational, strength, temporal and elemental.
