The paper presents the optical spatial frequency filter that allows to filter in real time by using a 0th order diffraction in the acoustooptic cell, which operates in the Bragg regime.
PL
W pracy przedstawiono układ optyczny umożliwiający filtrowanie częstotliwości przestrzennych w czasie rzeczywistym, korzystając z zerowego rzędu dyfrakcji w komórce akustooptycznej, która pracuje w reżimie Bragga.

The paper describes the influence of the effect of light beam deviation from Bragg angle on the intensity of light diffracted on acoustic wave. The analysis was based on the results of numerical calculations. The calculations were made for several characteristic cases.
PL
W pracy opisano wpływ odchylenia wiązki światła od kąta Bragga na natężenie ugiętego światła na fali akustycznej. Analizy dokonano w oparciu o wyniki obliczeń numerycznych. Obliczeń dokonano dla kilku charakterystycznych przypadków.

Content available remote Acoustogyration diffraction of optical waves : case of SiO₂ and TeO₂ crystals
EN
Interaction of acoustic and light waves with accounting for elastooptic and elastogyration effects is theoretically described. Collinear acoustogyration diffraction in quartz and paratellurite crystals is experimentally investigated and thoroughly analyzed. Piezogyration effect is experimentally studied for TeO₂ crystals. The acoustogyration efficiency and the acoustogyration figure of merit calculated for a number of crystals (GaAs, TeO₂ and SiO₂) are shown to be too small for experimental detection. On the other hand, we demonstrate that the light diffraction at periodical distribution of the imaginary part of dielectric permittivity related to the piezogyration effect should, in principle, be observed for the case of interaction of optical waves with enantiomorphous ferroelastic domain structure and in cholesteric liquid crystals.

Two-channel acousto-optic modulator (AOM) makes simultaneous assignment of the frequency and phase of radio-signals possible. AOM is a fundamental element of a spectrum analyser based on acousto-optic receiver. In the paper, an analysis of influence of structural elements on characteristics of a two-channel modulator was shown and the procedure of optimisation of its construction described. Basing on this procedure the modulator for spectrum analysis at GSM band was designed, performed and investigated. The two-channel acousto-optic modulators give the possibility of detection and defining direction of radiation with accurancy of optimisation of construction of two-channel acousto-optic modulator for radio-signal phase detection 0,5⁰ .

Paper is devoted to consideration of the method of side lobs suppression of acoustical fiels that excited by different shape sound radiators. The method consists in application of additional elements in sound transducer that correct the acoustical field space distribution. The optimized configuration of sound round-shape radiator allows to suppress the first order side lobs level at more than three dB. The calculation show that the reduced level of suppressed side lobs is kept in the wide frequency band.

Content available remote Oxide crystals for solid state laser applications
EN
Recent trends in optoelectronics are towards small solid state lasers pumped by laser diodes. The paper describes efforts to create material basis for the development of this branch of optoelectronics. Single crystal growth and properties of many compounds acting as active laser or self-frequency doubling materials, passive modulators, nonlinear optical materials, and acousto-optic materials are discussed, including aluminium garnet with high neodymium concentration, vanadates, borates, and double tungstates.
