W artykule przedstawiono metodę analizy i oceny wypadkowości w budownictwie. Składa się ona z pięciu etapów i obejmuje: identyfikację źródeł danych o wypadkach przy pracy; klasyfikację pozyskanego materiału badawczego; budowę informatycznej bazy danych; budowę modelu symulującego przebieg złożonego procesu wypadkowego oraz przeprowadzenie obliczeń i analizę uzyskanych wyników.

The article presents the methodology of analysis and assessment of accident rate in the construction industry. It consists of five phases and includes: the identification of data sources on accidents at work, classification of collected research material, construction of computer database, building a model, that simulates the course of the complex process of the accident rate and conducting the calculation and analysis of the results.

The article characterizes basic guidelines for the use of macroergonomic principles in manufacturing enterprises, Influence of ergonomic criteria on the level of accidentality was also presented. Special attention was focused on factors which belong to material work environment and on technical-organizational factors. Their role and tasks in shaping the level of industrial safety were presented on the basis of automotive industry.
