Use of Selected Adaptive Models to Forecast Accidents During the Repair, Maintenance, Installation of Machines and Equipment

In the article the possibility of using selected adaptive models to forecast accidents at work during repairing, maintaining and installing machines, was presented. On the basis of statistical data on persons injured in accidents at work (2009-2018), the process of their forecasting was carried out (for 2019 and the years 2019-2021) and the errors of expired forecasts were determined. Prediction of empirical data allowed for the assessment of accident rates among persons injured in total accidents and allowed for the assessment of the state of occupational safety in the area with was analyzed. The presented models can be used to assess accidents in other sectors of the economy and be a tool used to assess the state of occupational safety in an enterprise.

Eksploatacja pojazdu związana jest z możliwością wystąpienia uszkodzeń w wyniku zdarzenia drogowego. Precyzyjne wyznaczenie kosztów po-wypadkowych w pojeździe jest jednym z istotnych elementów przywrócenia pojazdu do ponownego użytkowania i wymaga kompleksowego podejścia z wykorzystaniem programów komputerowych stosowanych w rzeczoznawstwie samochodowym. Mimo rozwoju technologii nie bez znaczenia pozostaje jednak rola eksperta definiującego zakres uszkodzeń badanego obiektu oraz dokonany przez niego dobór właściwych narzędzi informatycznych do obliczeń kalkulacyjnych i wyceny wartości pojazdu uszkodzonego i nieuszkodzonego.

The operation of the vehicle is associated with the possibility of damage as a result of a traffic incident. Precise determination of accident costs in a vehicle is one of the important elements of restoring the vehicle to reuse and requires a comprehensive approach using computer programs used in automotive exper-tise. Despite the development of technology, the role of the expert defining the extent of damage to the examined object and the selection of the right IT tools for calculations and valuation of the damaged and undamaged vehicle is not without significance.

Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie opłacalności napraw powypadkowych pojazdów samochodowych. Porównano koszty naprawy z użyciem części oryginalnych, zamienników oraz części używanych. Stwierdzono, iż w przypadku uszkodzeń w których zachodzi konieczność wymiany poduszek powietrznych naprawa jest najczęściej nieopłacalna, nawet w przypadku stosunkowo nowych pojazdów. Koszt naprawy z wykorzystaniem zamienników najczęściej nie odbiega w znaczący sposób od kosztów naprawy z wykorzystaniem części używanych.

This article aims to show the profitability of accident repair of motor vehicles. We compared the cost of repairs using original spare parts, alternatives and used parts. It was found that in case of damage where there is a need to replace the airbags repair is most often unprofitable, even in the case of relatively new vehicles. The cost of repair with the use of alternatives usually do not differ significantly from thecost of repair with the use of used parts.
