W artykule scharakteryzowano tematykę poruszaną w referatach Komitetu Studiów Kable elektroenergetyczne (SC B1) CIGRE dotyczącą lądowych i morskich kabli, osprzętu oraz linii kablowych. W grupie PS1 Uczenie się z doświadczeń zajmowano się: projektowaniem, wytwarzaniem, technikami instalacji, eksploatacją, jakością, monitorowaniem, oceną stanu, testami diagnostycznymi, lokalizacją wad/defektów, modernizacją, zarządzaniem, procedurami uzyskiwania pozwoleń na nowe inwestycje kablowe itp. Tematyka w grupie PS2 Przyszłe funkcjonalności i aplikacje to: innowacyjne kable i systemy, rola i wymagania stawiane kablom elektroenergetycznym w sieciach jutra, przyszły wpływ Internetu Rzeczy, Big Data i Przemysłu 4.0 na systemy kabli elektroenergetycznych. Trzecia grupa artykułów związanych z PS3 Dążenie do zrównoważonego rozwoju była poświęcona takim tematom, jak: wyzwania środowiskowe mające wpływ na obecne i planowane systemy kablowe; względy bezpieczeństwa, bezpieczeństwo cybernetyczne i fizyczne; inicjatywy promujące dostęp do przystępnych cenowo, niezawodnych, zrównoważonych linii kablowych dystrybucyjnych i przesyłowych.

Characterized is the thematics addressed in the papers of the Study Committee B1 (SC B1) CIGRE - Insulated Cables and concerning land and submarine power cables, accessories and cable lines. In the group PS1 Learning from experience the works were conducted in the fields of design, production, installation technologies, operation, quality, monitoring, technical condition assessment, diagnostic tests, faults/defects location, modernization, management, procedures to obtain permits for new cable investments and so on. The main Issues in the group PS2 Future functionalities and applications were Innovative cables and systems, role of and requirements for power cables In future power networks as well as the future influence of Internet of Things, Big Data and Industry 4.0 on power cables systems. The third group of articles connected with PS3 Towards Sustainability was dedicated to such Issues like environmental challenges having influence on the present and planned cable systems, safety reasons, cyber and physical security and also initiatives promoting access to affordable, reliable and sustainable distribution and transmission cable lines.

W artykule przedstawiono problematykę koparek hydraulicznych, głównie jednonaczyniowych. Autor opisał podstawowe rodzaje i odmiany stosowanych koparek jednonaczyniowych, kładąc nacisk na zagadnienia związane ze sterowaniem i stosowanymi rodzajami napędu w koparkach. W artykule omówiono również normy charakteryzujące parametry koparek. Artykuł zakończony jest podsumowaniem, w którym przedstawiono między innymi rodzaje osprzętu i podwozi, w jakie wyposażone są koparki.

The article presents the issues of hydraulic excavators, mainly one-bucket ones. The author have described the basic types and varieties of single-bucket excavators, placing emphasis on issues related to control and the types of propulsion used in excavators. The article also discusses the standards characterizing the parameters of excavators. The summary presents, among others, the types of accessories and chassis in which excavators are equipped.

Zapewnienie odpowiedniego poziomu zdolności bojowej Sił Zbrojnych RP jest podstawowym wymogiem wynikającym wprost z zapisów Konstytucji RP. Dla jej zapewnienia niezbędne jest utrzymanie wysokiego stopnia ukompletowania, właściwe wyposażenie w sprzęt wojskowy, odpowiednie wyszkolenie stanów osobowych, wysoki stan moralno-etyczny, a przede wszystkim zapewnienie odpowiedniego poziomu bezpieczeństwa logistycznego. W ramach zabezpieczenia logistycznego pierwszoplanowa rolę spełnia zabezpieczenie materiałowe, zabezpieczenie techniczne, zaspokojenie potrzeb transportowych oraz infrastrukturalnych. Właściwie zrealizowany ten kompleks przedsięwzięć stanowi podstawę do utrzymania zdolności bojowej Sił Zbrojnych RP na oczekiwanym poziomie.

W artykule omówiono problemy dotyczące wczesnych uszkodzeń nowych konstrukcji mostowych, pojawiających się w pierwszych 5 latach ich użytkowania. Przedstawiono najczęstsze rodzaje uszkodzeń elementów nośnych przęseł i podpór oraz wyposażenia. Szczegółowe rodzaje defektów podano w odniesieniu do poszczególnych elementów konstrukcyjnych oraz ich materiału. Zwrócono również uwagę na potencjalne scenariusze rozwoju awarii konstrukcji związane z rodzajami uszkodzeń, wskazując zarówno ich przyczyny, jak i skutki.

In the paper a problem of early defects appearing in new bridge structures during the first 5 years of their exploitation is brought up. The most frequent types of defects in superstructure and substructure elements as well as in bridge accessories are presented. Detailed damage types are listed with reference to selected structural elements and their material. Special attention was paid also to potential failure development scenarios related to the given types of defects, showing their causes and consequences.

The application of modern scientific methods and measuring techniques can ex- tend the empirical knowledge used for centuries by violinmakers for making and adjusting the sound of violins, violas, and cellos. Accessories such as strings and tailpieces have been studied recently with respect to style and historical coherence, after having been somehow neglected by researchers in the past. These fittings have played an important part in the history of these instruments, but have largely disappeared as they have been modernised. However, the mechanics of these accessories contribute significantly to sound production in ways that have changed over time with different musical aesthetics and in different technical contexts. There is a need to further elucidate the function and musical contribution of strings and tailpieces. With this research we are trying to understand the modifications of the cello’s sound as a consequence of tailpiece characteristics (shape of the tailpiece and types of attachments). Modal analysis was used to first investigate the vibration modes of the tailpiece when mounted on a non-reactive rig and then when mounted on a real cello where it can interact with the modes of the instrument’s corpus. A preliminary study of the effect of the tailpiece cord length will be presented.

Wzrastające wymagania estetyczne ram rowerowych wymuszają zastąpienie spawania akcesoriów do ram innym procesem spajania. Praktycznym sposobem osiągnięcia wysokiej estetyki złączy i wymaganych cech użytkowych jest zastosowanie lutowania. Przedstawiono wyniki lutowania płomieniowego akcesoriów do ram ze stopu aluminium AW6011 przy zastosowaniu lutów B-AL88Si -575/590 (AI104) i S-Zn98Al2 w postaci drutów proszkowych.

The increasing aesthetic requirements of bicycle frames demand the replacement of welding process of additional accessories to the frame with the other bonding process. Practical way of achieving a high aesthetic joints and required performance characteristics is the use of brazing. The article presents the results of flame brazing of additional accessories to the frame made of aluminum alloy AW6011 by using B-AL88Si -575/590 (AI104) and S-Zn98Al2 brazing alloy in the form of wires.
