Bullying at university is a pervasive phenomenon that has negative outcomes on the psychological and actual wellbeing of students, their success and achievement. The examination expected to research the consequences of bullying on university level students. A self-administrated survey was planned by the exploration goals and theories. The sample size consists of 380 students randomly selected from different faculties of a public university in Bangladesh. The questionnaire was coded and analyzed using SPSS-AMOS-24 and descriptive analysis, exploratory factor analysis (EFA), confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and structural equation modeling (SEM) were used for data analysis. The results of the study indicated that bullying exists at the university and affects student’s academic achievement and success, either by victims or the bullies. The bullied students resolved unpleasant situations using active or passive responses. This study discovers the causes and consequences of students bullying and gives suggestions to the students, university administration and parents of students on how to solve this problem. The study also helps prevent bullying by educating student about their rights, providing students with confidential way to report bullying, encouraging bystanders by to take immediate actions, such as speaking up and reporting the incident and emphasizing the importance of family involvement. This study has recommended that teachers and the university administration need to take different measures to reduce bullying. Teachers may coordinate with and talk to the bully’s students. Teachers, university administration, and NGOs can seta few projects for menaces to alleviate the university bullying. Moreover, the government should take legal action to prevent bullying. Therefore, the desirable application of the results of this research reality makesa valuable contribution to development at the national level.

Poznajmy historię pasji motoryzacyjnej człowieka, który w swoim czasie wniósł duży i wielowymiarowy wkład w rozwój polskiej motoryzacji.

Eligiusz Jędrzejec był długoletnim pracownikiem naukowym w Zakładzie Ochrony Powierzchni i Obiektów Budowlanych GIG. Po ciężkiej chorobie zmarł 20 lipca 2015 r. Wszedł na trwałe do nauki o szkodach górniczych. W artykule zamieszczono wyniki najważniejszych prac doktora E. Jędrzejca, dotyczące opracowanych - programów komputerowych Szkody oraz wybranych zagadnień dotyczących opisu deformacji powierzchni spowodowanych podziemną eksploatacją górniczą. Na końcu zamieszczono wykaz publikacji Eligiusza Jędrzejca.

Eligiusz Jędrzejec was a longtime researcher at the Department of Surface and Structures Protection in the Central Mining Institute (GIG). He died after a serious illness on 20th July 2015. He became an inherent part of the science of mining damage. This paper presents the results of the most important works of PhD. E. Jędrzejec, on the developed - computer programs Damage and selected issues concerning the description of surface deformation induced by underground mining exploitation. A list of publications by Eligiusz Jędrzejec is enclosed at the end of the paper.

Artykuł ten jest próbą przedstawienia sylwetki wybitnego polskiego historyka architektury prof. Zygmunta Świechowskiego, który zmarł 28 grudnia 2015 r. w wieku 95 lat. Zasadnicza część tekstu to omówienie zawodowego życiorysu Profesora, związanego z wieloma środowiskami naukowymi w Polsce i za granicą. Dodatkowym nurtem rozważań są osobiste spostrzeżenia autorki, której pierwsze kontakty z Profesorem sięgają już lat 80. ubiegłego stulecia. Zacieśnienie współpracy nastąpiło od roku 2003, gdy autorka wraz z prof. Świechowskim i prof. Robertem Kunklem rozpoczęła realizację projektu badawczego dotyczącego średniowiecznej architektury cysterskiej w Małopolsce. Konkluzją rozważań jest stwierdzenie, że wszyscy, którzy mieli jakikolwiek kontakt z Profesorem, będą go wspominać jako wybitnego uczonego i wielkiego humanistę.

This article is an attempt at presenting the distinguished Polish architectural historian – Professor Zygmunt Świechowski who passed away on December 28, 2015 at the age of 95. The major part of the text regards Professor’s professional career connected with a lot of circles of scholars in Poland and abroad. Additionally, the article presents the personal observations of the author who first met Professor in the 1980s. They worked closer since 2003 when together with Professor Świechowski and Professor Robert Kunkel they started the research project regarding the medieval Cistercian architecture in Małopolska. The conclusion of those deliberations is the statement that all those who knew Professor will remember him as an eminent scholar and a great humanist.
