W artykule opisano obchody 75 lecia O/Wr. SEP i Roku Patrona SEP 2021. Oddział powstał w pionierskim okresie odbudowy dolnośląskiej energetyki po zakończeniu II wojny światowej i tworzenia dolnośląskich struktur SEP (Oddział Wrocławski i Jeleniogórski). Przedstawiono sylwetki najbardziej zasłużonych dla O/Wr. SEP działaczy tego okresu: kol. F. Bilka, prof. K. Idaszewskiego, prof. J.I. Skowrońskiego, pionierów i współtwórców struktur dolnośląskich SEP oraz elektrycznego szkolnictwa wyższego we Wrocławiu.

The article describes the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the SEP Wroclaw Branch and the celebration of the patron year of SEP 2021. The branch was established in the pioneering period of the reconstruction of the Lower Silesian energy sector after the end of World War II and the creation of the Lower Silesian SEP structures (Wrocław and Jeleniogórski Branch). The profiles of the most distinguished for O / Wr SEP activists of this period are presented: col. F. Bilek, prof. K. Idaszewski, prof. J.I. Skowroński, pioneers and co-founders of the Lower Silesian SEP structures and electrical higher education in Wrocław.

Wroclaw University of Science and Technology carries out a project titled “University of New Opportunities”. Within the frames of this project a Digital Accessibility Guide (DAG) is developed with the aim to provide comprehensive information on the university’s facilities with special emphasis on people with disabilities. The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) methodology was applied to select the 25 facilities to be included in the DAG. The proposed methodology included development of a hierarchical structure of the model, the determination of seven evaluation criteria, adoption of a scoring scale (1–5) of sub- criteria for each criterion, and their pairwise comparison by an interdisciplinary group of experts. The selected criteria comprised of the functions and services of buildings, the number of users, communication and architectural accessibility, the number of indications in the accessibility survey and the number of classrooms. The final ranking of facilities was created based on the evaluated characteristics of nearly fifty buildings and the results of the AHP evaluation of the selection criteria and their weights. The consensus of the expert group involved in the pairwise comparison was 2.8% and the weighted score of the facilities ranged from 4.68 to 1.29 with a median of 2.16. The applied approach structured the decision problem in accordance with the multicriterial decision analysis approach. The proposed methodology for selecting the University's strategic facilities is universal and may be used in other universities.

W ramach realizowanego na Politechnice Wrocławskiej projektu „Politechnika Nowych Szans” tworzony jest Cyfrowy Przewodnik, którego celem jest udostępnienie użytkownikom informacji o obiektach uczelni z uwzględnieniem potrzeb osób z niepełnosprawnością. Wybierając 25 najważniejszych obiektów, które znajdą się w Cyfrowym Przewodniku, dokonano ich oceny metodą hierarchicznej analizy problemu decyzyjnego AHP. Metoda obejmowała opracowanie przez interdyscyplinarną grupę ekspertów struktury hierarchicznej modelu, wyznaczenie siedmiu kryteriów oceny, opracowanie skali punktacji (1–5) lub podkryteriów, a następnie znaczenia. Przyjęte kryteria obejmowały m.in. funkcje i usługi budynków, liczbę użytkowników, dostępność komunikacyjną i architektoniczną, liczbę wskazań w ankiecie dostępności oraz liczbę sal dydaktycznych. Na potrzeby analizy dane zostały pozyskane od jednostek administracyjnych Politechniki Wrocławskiej, a także w trakcie audytów każdego z analizowanych budynków. Na podstawie analizy charakterystyk blisko pięćdziesięciu obiektów uczelni oraz wyników oceny kryteriów wyboru i ich znaczenia utworzono ostateczną listę rankingową. Konsensus grupy ekspertów wyniósł 2,8%, a ważona punktacja obiektów zawierała się w zakresie 4,68-1,29 przy medianie 2.16. Zastosowane podejście pozwoliło na ustrukturyzowanie i zobiektywizowanie analizowanego problemu decyzyjnego. Zaproponowana metoda wyboru obiektów strategicznych uczelni ma charakter uniwersalny i może być wykorzystana w analizie kampusów innych uczelni wyższych.

W artykule opisano eksponaty pozyskane z rozbieranych konstrukcji mostów, które od 2019 r. są wystawione na terenie Politechniki Wrocławskiej w formie wystawy stałej dla studentów i pracowników. W tekście przedstawiono także pokrótce obiekty, z których pochodzą eksponowane fragmenty konstrukcji.

The article describes exhibits that were obtained from demolished bridge structures and since 2019 have been on display in Wrocław University of Technology, as a permanent exhibit available for students and employees. The text includes short descriptions of the bridges that the parts had been acquired from.

Opisano wyposażenie i lokalizacje laboratorium wysokich napięć na Politechnice Wrocławskiej od 1910 roku. Pierwsze laboratorium oddano do eksploatacji bezpośrednio po otwarciu Technische Hochschule Breslau. Jednak dopiero po przybyciu Prof. Paula Boeninga w 1936 r. zaczęto je w pełni wykorzystywać. Prof. Jerzy Ignacy Skowroński w 1946 r. przeniósł laboratorium do znacznie większego pomieszczenia w gmachu A-1, a następnie do budynku D-1 po jego ukończeniu w 1954 roku. Działalność laboratorium można podzielić na trzy okresy: przed II wojną światową 1910-1945, lata kierownictwa Prof. J. I. Skowrońskiego i okres 1971–2020. Największy rozwój laboratorium w zakresie zakupów wyposażenia i liczby zatrudnionych (20 pracowników) przypada na lata 1960-1990. W referacie opisano najważniejsze wyposażenie zakupione lub zmontowane przez Jerzego Lisieckiego.

Equipment and locations of the high voltage laboratory have been described since 1910. The first laboratory was put into operation immediately after the opening of the Technische Hochschule Breslau. However, only after the arrival of prof. Paul Boening in 1936 began to be fully used. Professor Jerzy Ignacy Skowroński in 1946 moved the laboratory to a much larger room in the A-1 building and then to the D-1 building after its completion in 1954. The laboratory can be divided into three periods: the time before World War II 1910-1945, the years of management of Prof. J.I. Skowronski and the years 1971–2020. The years 1960-1990 were the period of the greatest development, purchase of equipment and employment of almost 20 employees. The article describes the most important equipment purchased or assembled by Jerzy Lisiecki.

The introducing the self-containing, autonomous studies in spatial management and planning into the polish academic educational system was not a simple task. It took the long time to present the conviction about interdisciplinary and proces-oriented field of both – the research and education regarding the spatial aspects of our civilization in order to gain official acceptance. In 1995 the Head Council for Higher Education in Poland installed spatial management on the list of degree programs. The fact that two academic schools had been conducting such specializations for 4 years has been formalized. So, only the persistent cooperation of Poznań University and Wrocław Polytechnic made it possible to iniciate the succesfull 25 years of spatial management studies.

Organizacje działające na rzecz ochrony wzroku – analiza wiedzy studentów optometrii na ich temat oraz propozycje odnośnie ich działania

Niniejsza praca poświęcona jest badaniom poziomu wiedzy studentów optometrii na temat organizacji, fundacji czy inicjatyw prywatnych działających na rzecz ochrony wzroku oraz propozycjom studentów odnośnie takich przedsięwzięć.Badanie zostało przeprowadzone wśród studentów Politechniki Wrocławskiej, przy użyciu kwestionariusza ankietowego. Zebrany materiał pozwolił na ocenę poziomu wiedzy studentów oraz przeanalizowanie ich propozycji odnośnie działania takich organizacji. Jednym z wniosków wynikających z przeprowadzonych badań jest to, że informacje na temat nowych inicjatyw na rzecz ochrony wzroku nie są, w ocenie studentów, wystarczająco dobrze rozpowszechniane. Pozytywnym aspektem przeprowadzonych badań jest fakt, że przeważająca liczba badanych zadeklarowała chęć wzięcia udziału w nowych inicjatywach na rzecz ochrony wzroku.

This paper is to examine the knowledge of optometry students on organizations, foundations, and private initiatives that work to preserve vision.The survey was conducted among the students of the Technical University of Wroclaw, using a questionnaire. The collected material allowed the assessment of the level of knowledge and the analysis of students’ ideas regarding the activities of such organizations. One of the conclusions resulting from the study is that information on new initiatives to protect eyesight is not, in the opinion of students, sufficiently distributed. A positive aspect of the study is the fact that an overwhelming number of respondents had declared their willingness to participate in new initiatives to protect eyesigh.
