The development of transport systems is largely supported by telematic systems, therefore it is necessary to ensure their high availability and reliability of IT systems. The authors of the article, recognizing this important problem, have developed software for remote management and monitoring of the computer systems used in transport telematic systems. The software uses WMI (Windows Management Instrumentation) technology, which is the Microsoft implementation of Web-Based Enterprise Management (WBEM). The WMI service uses a Common Information Model (CIM) to represent managed network components (i.e. computers, printers, disks, memory, CPUs, processes). All these objects represent a set of information that could be described in a data model and can be stored in the WMI database - CIM repository. In the paper, the authors present the methodology of using this technology and its practical implementation in software. The conducted researches confirmed the great usefulness of this standard in the diagnostics of computer systems used in transport telematic systems.

Na rynku dostępnych jest wiele programów, które wykonują audyt sprzętu komputerowego oraz oprogramowania. Są to oprogramowania płatne. Open-AudIT jest oprogramowaniem bezpłatnym, udostępnianym na podstawie licencji GNU. Funkcjonalność przedmiotowej aplikacji nie odbiega zakresem audytowanych obszarów od rozwiązań komercyjnych, a niejednokrotnie pozwala na zbadanie w szerszym zakresie sprzętu i oprogramowania należących do organizacji.

On the market there are many programs which perform audits of computer hardware and software. These are payable software. Open-AudIT is free software released under the GNU License. The functionality of the application, when it comes to the range of audited areas, does not differ from commercial solutions, and often allows to explore more widely the hardware and software owned by the organization.

Paper presents the problems connected with designing new concept vehicles for defence industry as well as modelling and simulation methods issues on the basis of WMI and MG20 vehicles. Project development process of MG20 vehicle laying kit, separate analysis phases starting from kinematics sketch and development of concept model of the system through strength computation of structure, ending with development of working documentation and vehicle model execution were presented. The concept of modern Multi-task Engineering Machine provided for engineering troops was presented in this work. Execution of tasks on modern war theatre, during intervention and peace missions as well as during natural disasters effects counteractions requires a specialistic engineering equipment adapted for special military and civil demands. High mobility and versatility are the main parameters that feature this equipment. Within the scope of operational needs review, the need to deploy the Multi-task Engineering Machine to engineering troops, which is to substitute old-fashion and very used single-task machines used up to now. Disused structures of engineering machines used in Polish Military Forces during recent decades had large weight and low versatility. Their structures were based of heavy, deceptive and high operation cost the drive systems. Engines of low efficiency, hard to maintain and servicing the drive transmission systems made difficult common application and execution of engineering works. The greatest disadvantage of engineering vehicles that are used by Polish Military Forces is low mobility. This causes significant difficulties to transport a vehicle to the location where works and tasks are being carried out, frequently of distance several hundred kilometres (for instance, while removing natural disasters effects).

Aplikacja umożliwia inspekcję i inwentaryzację oprogramowania oraz sprzętu dla zdalnych komputerów. Program składa z modułu serwera i klienta. Klient gromadzi informacje o cechach danego komputera, zapisuje je i wysyła do serwera, który zbiera dane od agentów i przechowuje w bazie danych. Ponadto serwer pełni rolę warstwy prezentacyjnej pozwalając na przeglądanie ich poprzez przeglądarkę WWW.

The application helps to automate the inspection and inventory of hardware and software on remote hosts. The program consists of server and client modules. Client collects information about the characteristics of hardware and software configuration and send it to a server which collects data and stores them into database. Server also acts as a presentation layer for data accessible by WWW browser.
