Autor, podczas swojej wędrówki po Ukrainie, opisuje spostrzeżenia na temat budowania z klinkieru. Zauważa, że budynki z klinkieru są jak na standardy zachodnioeuropejskie, wyjątkowo okazałe. Poza ilościowym zużyciem cegły, które jest średnio pięć razy większe niż w Polsce, wskazuje także na różnorodność asortymentową w obrębie jednej budowli.

The author, during his journey to Ukraine, describes insights into the building of linker. It notes that the buildings are of clinker by the standards of Western Europe, particularly impressive. In addition to the quantitative consumption of bricks, which is on average five times higher than in Poland, also points to the variety of assortment within the same building.

In some respects, the shaping of space by an architect resembles the challenge of a theatre director who creates the stage performance. An architect, in his own creation of the architectural stage, must take account of the unforeseen events which appear in real life. The „open air" performances and various state or church ceremonies are those events when the theatrical space becomes totally combined with architecture. The ceremony organized to celebrate the nameday of King Stanislaus Augustus, which had taken place in Kamenetz Podilski in 1766, is discussed herein in its aspect of the durability of the architectural space and the limits of its existence.

Beyond the material evidence, heritage sites usually carry a deep spiritual message linking to the ancestral past. Cultural and architectural heritage sites may be discribed by material and spiritiual valued layers. Kamieniec Podolski case shaws that limits of architecture in historical towns may be reduced even to only one intangible layer.
