The article concerns the issues connected with design and implementation of new public and commercial investments in the context of existing spatial structures of highest cultural value, implemented in small towns of Tuscany. Spatial structure is understood as the state of investments, building development or even abandonment of any interference in existing landscape (also agricultural) due to human activity, shaped in latest centuries. In Tuscany, a land slightly different from other Italian regions when it comes to landscape and culture, unusual solutions in modern architecture, which cultivate the relationship with the great tradition, although it might have been designed by architects not necessarily from those parts. What, then, is the nature of this phenomenon and does it have to be necessarily connected with the "genetic" origin of modern architecture, exclusively by local creators. Presented examples contradict this view. The problem, therefore, lies in the sensitivity of an individual!!

W artykule poruszono problemy projektowania i realizacji nowych inwestycji publicznych i komercyjnych w kontekście istniejących struktur przestrzennych o najwyższych wartościach kulturowych, realizowanych na terenie niewielkich miejscowości włoskiej Toskanii. Przez strukturę przestrzenną rozumie się tu ukształtowany przez ostatnie wieki stan zainwestowania, zagospodarowania lub wręcz zaniechania jakiejkolwiek ingerencji w istniejący krajobraz, także rolniczy. Na terenie Toskanii, krainy nieco odmiennej pod względem krajobrazowym i kulturowym od pozostałych włoskich regionów, można dostrzec wyjątkowe rozwiązania współczesnej architektury, kultywujące związki ze wspaniałą tradycją, mimo że jest ona projektowana niekoniecznie przez architektów pochodzących z tego regionu. Na czym zatem polega ten fenomen i czy musi być koniecznie związany z "genetycznym" pochodzeniem architektury współczesnej wyłącznie od rodzimych twórców? Zaprezentowane przykłady przeczą temu poglądowi, a problem spropwadza się raczej do indywidualnej wrażliwości.

This work is aimed to improve lithostratigraphy and biostratigraphy, based on calcareous nannofossils, of the deep-marine Lower Toarcian sediments belonging to Tuscan Nappe (Northern Apennines). The sampled lower part of the Calcari e marne a Posidonia (Posidonia Marls) correlates with the Marne del Monte Serrone of the Umbria-Marche Basin, which is characterized by the presence of the Lower Toarcian black shales. The Calcari e marne a Posidonia consists of grey to greenish hemipelagic to pelagic bivalves-bearing marlstones and limestones with interbedded grey to grey dark, sometimes reddish, clayey marlstones and marly claystones. In some localities, in the lower portion of this formation is recognized a thin to medium thick organic-rich interval of black marlstones and marly claystones. The recovered calcareous nannofossil assemblages allow to assigne the basal portion of the Marne a Posidonia to the Lower Toarcian with the thin organic-rich interval comprised between the appearances of the genera Carinolithus and Discorhabdus.
