In the paper the performance of the modular reluctance motor (Transverse Flux Motor) with an outer rotor is presented. The calculation of the magnetic filed and electromagnetic torque were performed using Flux3d package based on the finite element method. The calculation results are in good agreement with experimental data obtained from the prototype motor. The calculations presented enable to determine the output electromechanical parameters of the motor already being in the stage of the design.
