The main topic of the research is organisation of the innovation activity in enterprises. The area of examination was restricted to Polish enterprises that are recognized as leaders of innovation in our country. The article presents the curreent state of the techniques for managing innovation. Fast changing market demands from enterprises the continuous process of creating innovation. Customers, high competition and so on request these innovations. In the same time, very low percentage is aware of innovation management techniques. The aim of the article is to show the implementation, usefulness and influence on the enterprise of these techniques. Moreover, there was put the stress on importance of the cooperation and Internet usage in this context.
