Approaches to Evaluating the Quality of Masking Noise Interference

The paper discusses the characteristics of spatial electromagnetic noise generators, as well as the formation of a broadband noise signal. A number of well-known methods for assessing the quality of masking noise interference and the approaches used in them have been described. Approaches to the measurement of masking noise were also determined in assessing their quality. In conclusion, additional methods are proposed for assessing the quality of masking noises, such as searching for correlation of noise in different frequency sub-bands and using statistical and (or) graphical methods (tests) for randomness.

W artykule skupiono się na projektorze multimedialnym podłączonym do komputera PC z wykorzystaniem kabla i złącza HDMI (ang. High Definition Multimedia Interface) dla którego przedstawiono sygnały wymuszeń używanych podczas pomiarów emisji ujawniającej oraz omówiono wyniki pomiarów emisji ujawniającej pochodzącej od projektora multimedialnego. Ponadto w artykule omówiono stanowisko pomiarowe do pomiaru emisji ujawniających wykorzystane w przeprowadzonych pomiarach.

The article focuses on a multimedia projector connected to a PC using a cable and an HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) for which extrusion signals used during emission measurements were presented and the results of measurements of the revealing emission from a multimedia projector were discussed. In addition, the article discusses the measurement stand for the measurement of revealing emissions used in the measurements carried out.

Emisje ujawniające, towarzyszące sygnałom elektrycznym, mogą być redukowane poprzez odpowiednie kształtowanie źródła tych emisji czyli poprzez odpowiednie kształtowanie sygnałów elektrycznych. Takie rozwiązanie może być stosowane w przypadku drukarek laserowych. Źródło emisji jest kształtowane poprzez odpowiedni wybór parametrów pracy urządzenia. W szczególności dotyczy to wyboru opcji jakości drukowania Best lub Eco. Wyniki badań z tym związane zostały omówione i zawarte w artykule.

Sensitive emissions accompanying electric signals could be attenuated by appropriate forming of source of the emissions that mean appropriate forming of electric signals. These solutions can be used in case of laser printers. In the printers the emission source is formed by appropriate selection of work parameters. Especially it is connected with quality mode printing Best or Eco. The test results connected with this phenomenon were described and contained in the paper.
