This article presents the results of a study on hierarchical multiservice trafﬁc overﬂow systems. The systems under investigation were composed of a number of primary resources and one alternative resource. Trafﬁc in the considered systems was generated with the assumption that tere was a ﬁnite number of trafﬁc sources in individual classes. Further assumption was that offered trafﬁc is elastic trafﬁc for which – with an increase of the load of the system – a change in the volume of allocated resources is possible followed by concurrent extension of their service time. The article includes the results that present the bloking probabilisty In The sample elastic trafﬁcoverﬂow systems. The study focuses on a determination of the inﬂuence of the trafﬁc intensity, volume of resources, degree of compression, resource with compression (primary resources, alternative resources)and the cardinality of trafﬁc sources on values of the blocking probability in individual call classes and on the number of calls that overﬂow to the alternative resource.

W artykule na tle podziału sieci przemysłowych najniższego poziomu opisana jest metoda ich integracji z zastosowaniem protokołów TCP/IP. Zwrócono również uwagę na środowisko, jakim jest system czasu rzeczywistego i jego wymagania czasowe. Opisano dokonaną próbę integracji sieci najniższego poziomu z użyciem protokołu TCP/IP i przedstawiono ocenę takiego połączenia pod kątem gwarantowanego czasu przesłania informacji.

This article describe division of the lowest level industrial networks and one of the integration method with using TCP/IP protocols. Also is described the method of integration this network according of kind of used real time system and it's time parameters. The authors suggest using TCP protocol to integration of industrial networks and try to check possibility of fulfill guaranteed time requirement in this type of integration.

Artykuł dotyczy wykorzystania protokołów komunikacyjnych do przesyłu informacji w przemysłowych systemach kontrolno-nadzorczych. Główny poruszany aspekt tego zagadnienia dotyczy doboru optymalnych protokołów komunikacyjnych pracujących w warstwach interfejsów sieciowych urządzeń informatycznych obsługujących procesy przemysłowe. Analizowane są kryteria wymogów procesu, wymagań użytkownika, bezpieczeństwa dostępu oraz aspekty ekonomiczne. Wskazówki doboru nie ograniczają się do protokołów stricte przemysłowych i uwzględniają również warstwy protokołów nie mających charakteru czasowo zdeterminowanego. Szczególny nacisk położony został na sieci oparte na protokołach TCP/IP, a w szczególności ich wyższych warstwach oraz wykorzystaniu standardowych usług sieci.

This article concern to taking advantage of communication protocols to transfer data in industrial control systems. Author of this article try to show some hints of protocols selection for any kind of computer devices in industry. Described criteria are based on process requirement, user requirement, remote access security and economical aspects. The hints are not limit to industrial protocols only and take into consideration not determined protocols levels also. Characteristic stress is putting on TCP/IP based network and in particular on its higher levels and using standard network services.
