The paper presents results of inventory of geosites occurring in the southern part of the Strzegom Hills (Sudetic Foreland) and their preliminary geotourism valorization. This part of the Strzegom Hills is geologically and geomorphologically diverse. The western and central section lies in the area of the Late Paleozoic Strzegom-Sobótka granitoid massif. In turn, the eastern part is composed of the Early Paleozoic metamorphic envelope of the massif, represented among others by quartz-sericite schists, greenschists, amphibolites and hornfelses. A characteristic feature of the landscape is numerous inselbergs made of crystalline rocks, surrounded by almostflat or slightly undulating areas filled with Cenozoic sediments. Natural rockformations have been preserved on the slopes of some inselbergs. Numerous open-pit mines of raw minerals (mainly rocks, to a lesser extent clays minerals) are also a specific element of the landscape. Fifty-three geosites of various types have been documented. Petrographic, economic, tectonic, mineralogic and geomorphologic geosites are the most numerous. In accordance with the adopted criteria, 53% of the geosites are characterized by high geotouristic attractiveness. Seventy-five percent of the geosites present at leastfour scientific and educational issues.
