The correlation between mobility and subjective well-being (SWB) has received much attention lately. Previous researchers have studied the effect of health parameters or SWB on transport mode; however, there is a lack of study on the influence of travel mode choice (TMC) for daily activities on SWB. Besides, the prediction of TMC is critical for transport planning. Therefore, the current study aims to study the TMC and its influence on overall SWB. Data from 732 individuals and 191 households are collected using random sampling techniques, which represents 0.029% of the total population. Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) was used for descriptive statistics, whereas R software was used for the multilevel linear regression analysis. The model estimation results show a significant correlation among the variables (p < 0.05, R2 > 0.20). Besides, those who are exposed to public transport and tend to use non- motorized transport modes engage in more physical activities than those who use a private vehicle, which has a negative impact on SWB. The outcome of current research helps policymakers build policies to achieve a sustainable transportation system.

Moroccan companies seek to be competitive worldwide by improving quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma are the most popular methodologies for continuous improvement in companies. The objective of this article is to determine the impact of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing on the performance of different companies. The data was collected by a questionnaire sent to the various companies and industries in Morocco. 45 companies responded to this study, divided into several sectors. The criteria of this study are based on two levels: Financial and operational performance. A statistical study is carried out by SPSS software to analyze and interpret the collected results. The results of this study show that companies using Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing methodologies have a positive financial and operational performance compared to companies that only use Lean Manufacturing or companies that do not use Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing. Therefore, the combination of Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing is the ideal and perfect approach for the continuous improvement of different companies.

Walking is become a traditional mode of movement between places in many situations, irrespective of cities and countries. People walk with different purposes and activities. This calls for conducting the necessary studies and improvements for walking and crossing areas. The study aims to achieve several goals such as evaluate the impact of pedestrian characteristics, traffic flow in addition to walking speed on the efficiency of pedestrian level of service (LOS) with the aided of statistical and traffic models to show the extended impact of variables and their effect on the efficiency of pedestrian traffic flow. To that purpose, the study chose Muhrmat Shat Al- Hilla Street within the urban area of Hilla city. Data collected for pedestrian walking and crossing according to field survey in order to estimate flow, average speed, density and spacing. The proposals adopted by the study, which were built on the basis of a traffic study and use of the simulation program (PTV VISSIM), scientific analysis using method with design of the crossing areas and sidewalks according to the specifecations as a result to an increase in the level of service for the sidewalks and crossing areas of the LOS (from F to C). Based on the statistical analysis using the (SPSS) software program, as well as studying the relationships between traffic volumes, speed and density of pedestrians.the linear equation reflected the relationship between speed and density. While the second order equation reflected the relationship between traffic volumes and pedestrian speed based on the outputs of the values of the correlation coefficient (R), (Adj. R2) and (SE). The study suggested a comprehensive transportation for pedestrian flow charactristic in Hilla city includes pedestrians environmental within roadways and intersections as a networks to design an appropriate modern environment and safe crossing facilities to reduce traffic accidents that result in death, injury or disability.

Content available remote Kansei Engineering as a Tool for the Design of Traditional Pattern
EN
Traditional patterns are widely used in the modern design due to their long history, rich connotation, and beautiful form. However, the current application of traditional patterns in the modern design is mostly based on the designer's subjective preferences, not from the perspective of consumers, to explore their feelings about traditional patterns, and which design factors have an impact on consumers, which is the main reason why modern applications of traditional patterns cannot meet the esthetic needs of modern consumers. Therefore, to make better inheritance of the traditional pattern and meet the needs of contemporary consumers, this article takes the caisson lotus pattern of Mogao Cave in the Tang dynasty as an example and first, using the theory of Kansei engineering to investigate the perceptual cognition of the young consumers aged 20–35 years old on the lotus pattern, then use SPSS 24.0 software to analyze the perceptual evaluation data, find the design element combination code corresponding to the perceptual vocabulary, and establish a mathematical model that can predict consumers’ emotional imagery of the lotus pattern of the caisson in the Tang dynasty. Through the verification of the model, the test results show that the model has a high degree of credibility; designers can use this model to quickly evaluate and redesign the lotus pattern to better meet the needs of modern consumers. At the same time, the method of this paper can also be applied to other design fields with user-centered concerns.

In green concept hospital work, several provisions must be obeyed so that all processes, including material selection, project implementation, and building operations, must refer to green principles. Green building planning and construction costs higher than conventional by 10-20%. By using the Value Engineering (VE) method and combined with the Lifecycle Cost Analysis (LCCA), the researcher applies the green hospital concept to a project which is a case study but is still cost-effective even lower than the original Bill of Quantity. To see the strong influence of effectiveness on the hospital project, the researcher distributed a questionnaire to stakeholders. The results of the questionnaire were processed and analyzed using the Statistics Products and Solution Services (SPSS) tool. VE is implemented after first creating a Function Analysis System Technique (FAST) diagram, before and after adding functions for certain work items. It turns out that the use of the VE and LCCA methods is very influential in improving cost performance. From the calculation of the VE method, the resulting costs are up to 2.62% of the initial cost and LCCA shows the payback period of the Solar Power Plant with time = 9.64 years ≈ 9 years 7 months. The novelty of this research is the selection materials and the green concept of working methods is still cost efficient and the installation of Photovoltaics (PV) on the roof of Hospital reaches a payback period which is feasible for new investment.
