In this paper, we examine the problems of simulating modeling of urban transport route network operation and development of an information system for automating the process of modeling and processing of simulation results with SIMUL8 software. In order to solve this problem, it is required to solve the following set of related tasks: formal description of the urban transport systems structure and parameters of its functioning, development of mathematical models of urban transport network performance, database structure and an algorithm for simulation model creation.

Praca opisuje metodę symulacyjnego badania ścieżek klinicznych jako systemów klasy WorkFlow. Do badania wykorzystano PowerDesigner jako narzędzie do modelowania ścieżek klinicznych oraz SIMUL8 jako narzędzie do symulacyjnego badania cech zamodelowanych ścieżek klinicznych. Praca zawiera elementy pokazujące właściwości używanych narzędzi jako odpowiednich do modelowania, badania cech poprzez eksperymenty oraz analizowania otrzymanych wyników.

In this work clinical pathways are described by Workflow model. There pathways are analysed during simulation investigation. PowerDesigner environment is used for clinical pathways modeling as well as SIMUL8 is used for clinical pathways simulation. Properties of such tools as PowerDesigner and SIMUL8 for modeling and simulation are shown. The method for result obtaining and analysis is described and evaluated.
