The time passed in the urgency zone of a hospital is really important, and the quick evaluation and selection of the patients who arrive to this area is essential to avoid waste of time and help the patients in a higher emergency level. The triage, an evaluation and classification structured system, allows to manage the urgency level of the patient; it is based on the vital signs measures and clinical data of the patient. The goal is making the classification in the shortest possible time and with a minimal error percentage. Levels are allocated according to the concept that what is urgent is not always serious and that what is serious is not always urgent. In this work, we present a computational algorithm that evaluates the patients within the fever symptomatic category, we use fuzzy logic and decision trees to collect and analyze simultaneously the vital signs and the clinical data of the patient through a graphical interface; so that the classification can be more intuitive and faster. Fuzzy logic allows us to process data and take a decision based on incomplete information or uncertain values, decision trees are structures or rules sets that classify the data when we have several variables.

Przyrządy półprzewodnikowe oparte na zjawiskach fizycznych występujących w strukturach o wymiarach nanometrów, znane jako przyrządy kwantowe znajdują coraz więcej praktycznych zastosowań zarówno w układach analogowych wielkiej częstotliwości, jak i układach cyfrowych o bardzo krótkich czasach przełączania. Artykuł niniejszy poświęcony jest omówieniu aktualnych tendencji rozwoju układów logicznych, stanowiących podstawą techniki cyfrowej, wykonywanych przy wykorzystaniu najnowszych osiągnięć nanoelektroniki. Szerzej zostały przedstawione układy z przyrządami typu SET (Single Electron Device) oraz typu RTD (Resonant Tunneling Devices).

In order to continue the miniaturization of circuit elements down to the nanometer scale researches are investigating several alternatives to the CMOS IC for ultra dense and ultra high-speed circuits. These new nanometer-scale electronic devices perform both switches and amplifiers just like today's transistors. However, unlike today's MOSFETs, which operate based on the movement of masses of electrons in bulk semiconductor, the new devices take advantage of quantum mechanical phenomena that emerge on the nanometer scale, including the discreteness of electrons. There are several promising ideas to implement nanoelectronic devices. The most current ones are: resonant tunneling devices and single-electron-transistors. The fundamental physical principle of single-electron devices is the Coulomb-blockade resulting from the quantization of the elementary charge in insulated node of a double-junction structure. Resonant tunneling devices are based on electron transport via discrete energy levels in quantum-well structures. An introduction to this new field of electronic one can find in [6] and [7]. In this paper some more information are given concerning the quantum devices application in the logic circuits and systems. It is expected that in nanoelectronic systems the building blocks with an increased functionality with the extension of conventional Boolean gates, linear threshold networks, and multiple-valued logic will be used.

In this article it will be presented several possibilities of carrying out secure transactions via Internet. In the beginning, this paper describes historical conditions, methods used at present and visualisation of still developing solutions. It also treats about X.509 certificates and SET protocol - probably the best present solution. At the end of the article it is possible to accustom with software available at the market and firms dealing with this problem.
