Zapotrzebowanie na informację, wiedzę, dokształcanie, pomoc na stanowisku pracy rozwija się w kierunku dostarczania informacji specjalizowanej na żądanie, adekwatnej do potrzeb, dokładnie na czas. Podyktowane jest to tempem naszego życia, pracy, szybkim rozwojem technologii, ogromnym szumem informacyjnym wokół nas. Systemy informacyjne muszą indywidualizować dostarczaną informację i dostarczać ją rozumnie, dobrze rozpoznając potrzeby odbiorców. Artykuł przedstawia wybrane obszary zastosowań procesów informacyjnych, w których silnie występują potrzeby profilowania online informacji oraz możliwości nowego standardu e-leamingu IMS Common Cartridge i starszym - sprzed kilku lat - SCORM 2004.

Needs for the information, knowledge, training, the help on a workplace is developing in direction of delivering to the information specialize, on demand, appropriate to needs, just-in-time. It is dictated with pace of our life, of work, with mushroom growth of the technologies, with huge information noise around us. Information systems must individualize the delivered information and deliver it judiciously, well identifying needs of recipients. The article is presenting chosen fields of application of information processes in whom strongly needs of profiling online are appearing to the information, and the possibilities of solutions being based on a new e-learning standard IMS Common Cartridge and older, from before a few years, SCORM 2004.

Artykuł przedstawia główne trendy potrzeb oraz rozwoju systemów informacyjnych różnego zastosowania, jak również tezę o możliwości wykorzystania modeli e-learningu, zawartych w standardach SCORM 2004 i IMS Common Cartridge, nie tylko w systemach edukacyjnych. Zagadnienia zostaną szerzej omówione w następnym numerze Elektroniki.

The article presents main trends of needs and the development of information systems of different applying, as well as shows the thesis about the possibility of using models of the e-learning, contained in standards SCORM 2004 and IMS Common Cartridge, not only in the educational systems. The wider review of these problems will be included in the article in the next edition of Elektronika.
