Fully negative near-zero ultra-flat dispersion photonic crystal fibers in E+S+C+L band

We demonstrate a modified hexagonal three-layer air-hole photonic crystal fiber (PCF) which presents a good ability of dispersion management. The proposed PCF not only achieved an ultra-flattened all-negative dispersion characteristics of 0.15085 ps/(km·nm) fluctuation within the wavelength range of E+S+C+L wavelength band but also has been able to obtain other interesting features such as low confinement loss. Furthermore, the quadrilateral and octagonal structures are investigated to compare the superiority of different structures and analyze why we chose the hexagonal one.

Despite the importance of social capital (SCt), its influence on supply chain (SC) resilience and performance is not sufficiently understood. The aim of the research is to analyze the relationship between social capital, supply chain resilience and supply chain performance. This paper is survey-based research which used data of 203 firms from Hanoi. The hypothesis model is examined by structural equation modeling. Empirical examinations indicate that social capital positively impacts supply chain resilience and performance. The outcomes of our study could provide a guideline for practitioners on improving the ability of supply chain to cope with changes and help firms avoid disruptions and improve SC performance.

Energy plays crucial role in economic development of country to contribute in business activities for large sectors. The availability of energy helps to fulfill the development demands and initiatives of government’s policies. Energy is required in any sector of country to conduct their business activities and to develop infrastructure sector in Indonesia. Strategic management of firms enables them to develop long-term goals and to gain competitive advantage in highly turbulent and rapidly changing environment. The present study empirically examined the influence of strategic management practices and strategic clarity on performance of energy sector of Indonesia. Moderating role of corporate social responsibility is also examined between the constructs. The results show that independent variables influence significantly performance of firms, but CSR doesn’t moderate between the strategic clarity and firms’ performance. The data was collected from industry related mangers and was examined by using SMART-PLS (MM and SEM techniques).

Energia odgrywa kluczową rolę w rozwoju gospodarczym kraju, przyczyniając się do rozwoju działalności gospodarczej w ważnych sektorach. Dostępność energii pomaga spełnić wymagania rozwojowe i inicjatywy polityki rządu. Energia jest wymagana w każdym sektorze kraju do prowadzenia działalności gospodarczej i rozwoju infrastruktury w Indonezji. Strategiczne zarządzanie firmami umożliwia im opracowanie długoterminowych celów i uzyskanie przewagi konkurencyjnej w wysoce burzliwym i szybko zmieniającym się środowisku. Niniejsze badanie empirycznie określiło wpływ praktyk zarządzania strategicznego i przejrzystości strategicznej na wydajność sektora energetycznego Indonezji. Wykazano również umiarkowaną rolę społecznej odpowiedzialności biznesu. Wyniki pokazują, że zmienne niezależne wpływają znacząco na wydajność firm, ale CSR nie łagodzi dysonansu między przejrzystością strategiczną a wynikami firm. Dane zebrano od menedżerów związanych z przemysłem i zbadano za pomocą SMART-PLS (techniki MM i SEM).

Omawiane są elementarne układy tworzące sieć neuronową w technice prądowej oraz przedstawiona jest zasada ich działania. Ze względu na obszerność treści artykuł podzielony został na dwie części o następujących tytułach: Układy pracujące w technice przełączanych prądów - zasada działania. Budowa sieci neuronowych w oparciu o układy z przełączanymi prądami - realizacje praktyczne. Całość artykułu zamyka przedstawienie realizacji praktycznej komórki neuronowej wykonanej w technice przetaczanych prądów.

This paper covers practical realization of neural network in current switching techniques. Elementary components of neural networks are being described, as well as basis of they work. Because of extensivity of this article it was divided into two sections: Working principles of system with current switching techniques, Structure of neural networks based on current switching systems - practical approach. Both advantages and disadvantages are described in first part which describes nature and principle of working current switching systems, second one shows practical approach to build neural networks witch current switching techniques. Practical approach to build neural cell based on current switching technique summarizes whole paper.
