W artykule omówiono zasadność zastosowania ustandaryzowanej magistrali komunikacyjnej DMX512 w systemach oświetlenia architektonicznego oraz zaprezentowano korzyści wynikające z rozszerzenia protokołu DMX512 o funkcjonalność RDM (Remote Device Management). Na podstawie rozwiązań produktowych firmy CTG przedstawiono przykłady praktyczne obejmujące m.in.: proces wyboru metody sterowania, proces doboru urządzeń sterujących oraz proces konfiguracji systemów oświetlenia architektonicznego.

The article discusses the validity of using a standardized DMX512 communication bus in architectural lighting systems and presents the bene- fits of extending the DMX512 protocol with RDM (Remote Device Management) functionality. Based on product solutions from CTG sp. z o.o., practical examples are presented, including: the process of selecting a control method, the process of selecting control devices and the process of configuring architectural lighting systems.

The paper presents difficulties connected with fuzzy and interval division. If operations such as fuzzy addition, subtraction and multiplication provide as a result one compact, multidimensional granule, then a result of the fuzzy division can consists of few separated granules. Such results are more difficult to use in next calculations. The paper shows that the number of solution granules can be higher than 2 and that in certain problems division does not occur explicitly. In certain problems, separation of particular solution granules can be considerable. The paper also shows how to realize the fuzzy division when its denominator contains zero. Most types of fuzzy arithmetics forbid such operation. However, the paper shows that it is possible. Multidimensional fuzzy RDM arithmetic and horizontal membership functions which facilitate detecting of solution granules are also described. The considered problems are visualized by examples.

Uncertain variables are often used for solving realistic problems. To find the solution of a realistic problem the model with uncertain variable has to be built. Based on the model with uncertain variables operations on intervals are necessary. The article presents the multidimensional RDM interval arithmetic and its application to solving an economic problem. Obtained solutions are compared with results from the one dimensional Moore interval arithmetic and global optimization.

Content available remote Relational Operations and Uncertainty Measure in Rough Relational Database

The traditional relational database model (RDM) is not effective for dealing with imprecise and uncertain data as it deals with precise and unambiguous data. Hence, Beaubouef et al. proposed the rough relational database model (RRDM) for the management of uncertainty in relational databases. Beaubouef et al. defined the corresponding rough relational operators in rough relational databases as in ordinary relational databases. And to give an effective measure of uncertainty in rough relational databases, they defined the rough relation entropy. In this paper, we further discuss the issues of relational operations and uncertainty measure in rough relational databases. We give some new definitions for rough relational operators and rough relation entropy in rough relational databases. Furthermore, we discuss the basic properties of rough relational operators and rough relation entropy, as well as the connections between rough relational operators and rough relation entropy.
