The main purpose of this article is to make a forecast of the load on the night lines using the Municipal Transport Company in Piła (MTC) as a case study. This article characterizes the concept of urban logistics and mobility, and then proposed a mobility model that considers the preferences of residents when choosing a means of transport. Finally, it ends with a survey and the appropriate conclusions drawn.

The aim of the article is to find out about the public opinion of the inhabitants of the city of Piła about the functioning of the parking system, in which residents have problems finding a parking space. The most important issues in this field were reviewed. On the basis of the survey, car parks were designated, where it was proposed to modify the existing parking system by introducing intelligent parking systems. The results of the research, after analysis and summary of observations in the form of conclusions, are presented in the table and in the form of graphs.

Mateusz Dołęga (Wydział Architektury Politechniki Wrocławskiej) zdobył główną nagrodę w międzynarodowym konkursie ICOMOS na najlepszą pracę magisterską obronioną w roku 2016. W artykule przedstawiono fragment części graficznej projektu dyplomowego, który zawierał również obszerne opracowanie tekstowe. Kluczowym zagadnieniem projektu była rewaloryzacja i rozbudowa historycznego kompleksu budynków kolejowych w Pile. Są one przeznaczone na muzeum parowozów „Steam Centre” z miejscem na wystawy i edukację. Co więcej, w wachlarzowej parowozowni goście będą mogli zwiedzać istniejący warsztat, gdzie parowozy są naprawiane i odbudowywane. Atrakcyjność muzeum urozmaicą prezentacje pracy parowozów na zewnętrznej obrotnicy, przejażdżki historycznym taborem i pokazy przygotowywania parowozów do pracy.

Mateusz Dołęga (Faculty of Architecture, Wrocław University of Science and Technology) won the top prise in the ICOMOS international competition for the best master’s thesis defended in 2016. The article presents the fragment of graphic part of the diploma project, which also included a comprehensive textual design. The key issue of the project was revalorization and extension of a historical complex of railway buildings in Piła. They are designed for a museum of steam locomotives “Steam Centre” with a space for exhibitions and education. What is more, in half-round locomotive shed visitors can explore existing workshop where steam locomotives are repaired and reconstructed. The attractiveness of the museum is diversified by: presentations of working steam locomotives on the outside turntable, rides with historical rolling stock and demonstrations of preparing steam locomotives to use.

Problem wpływu hałasu na organizm ludzki jest złożony i trudny. Odnosi się do człowieka, ustroju biologicznego, jako jednostki intelektualnej oraz jednostki grupy społecznej jak i wszelkich aspektów jego życia. Od dłuższego czasu przykuwa uwagę chęć poznania oddziaływania hałasu na stan zdrowia, co za tym idzie funkcje poszczególnych narządów, szczególnie jego wpływ na wydajność i jakość pracy. Równie ważny jest przejaw subiektywistycznych doznań i relacji jednostkowej osoby i całego społeczeństwa żyjącego w warunkach trwałego oddziaływania uciążliwych dźwięków. Człowiek i wszystkie strefy jego życia są podległe wpływowi hałasu, gdzie skutki tego oddziaływania są ujemne. Z tego też powodu w pracy podjęto analizę poziomu hałasu w mieście Piła w kluczowych dla mieszkańców miejscach miasta. W tym celu wytypowano 10 miejsc na terenie miasta w których dokonano pomiaru poziomu hałasu środków transportu w różnych porach dnia. Badania były prowadzone w dni robocze oraz podczas weekendu.

The problem of the noise effect on the human body is complex and difficult. It refers to the human biological system, as a member of intellectual and social unit as well as all aspects of his life. For a long time this problem attracts the attention scientists who want to understand the impact of noise on health and the function of various organs, especially its impact on productivity and quality of work. Equally important is the manifestation of emotions and relationships of the person and the whole society living in conditions of chronic, disruptive sounds. Humans and all areas of their life are subject to the influence of noise with all negative effects of this interaction. For this reason, the dissertation describes the level of noise in Piła’s key residential areas. The author selected 10 sites within the city limits where the means of transport noise level was measured at different times of the day. Studies have been conducted on weekdays and at weekends.
