Artykuł przedstawia fragment badań prowadzonych w lecie 2021 i 2022 roku nad modernistyczną architekturą i urbanistyką rekreacyjną w Wielkopolsce. Badania przedstawione w artykule dotyczą zagadnienia letniska, czyli miejsca wypoczynku tymczasowego, długotrwałego, atrakcyjnego turystycznie w Wielkopolsce. Autorka prezentuje przekrój letnisk powstałych w Wielkopolsce w latach 1945-1989, obszarowo zgodnej z województwem Wielkopolskim z okresu PRL’u przed reformą administracyjną z 1975 roku. Celem prowadzonych badań było zdefiniowanie cech zabudowy powstałych struktur przestrzennych, a także określenia ich typów. Badania zostały przeprowadzone metodą historyczno-interpretacyjną, w których bardzo ważne były wizje lokalne. W wyniku przeprowadzonych badań zdefiniowano cechy struktury funkcjonalno-przestrzennej oraz zagospodarowanie terenu, które pozwalają na wskazanie typów letnisk (duże - o złożonej funkcji i małe - ograniczonej funkcji). Określono gdzie w Wielkopolsce powstały letniska i do którego typu się zaliczają. Wskazano także na przypadki szczególne, których nie obejmuje zastosowana typologia.

The article presents partial results of research conducted on modernistic architecture and recreational urban planning in Greater Poland in the summer of 2021 and 2022. The study concerns a summer resort: a temporary or long-term recreation facility for tourists in Greater Poland. The author presents comprehensive view of summer houses established in Greater Poland between 1945 and 1989 respective to Greater Poland Voivodeship from the communist period before the administrative reform of 1975. The research aiming to classily recreational structures was carried out using the historical and interpretative method in which local visions were very important. As a result, the common features of buildings were defined, allowing the identification of types of recreational structures: large - providing complex functionality and small - with limited offering). It was determined where in Wielkopolska Voivodeship summer resorts were established and to which type they belong. The study indicates special cases that are not covered by the topology used.

Przebudowa i modernizacja wielu zespołów śródmiejskich w miastach polskich - rozpoczęta na progu lat 60. XX w. - opierała się w znacznym stopniu na doświadczeniach i wzorcach zachodnich, a także doktrynie zakładającej intensywny rozwój i uprzemysłowienie. Przemieszczanie się i transport były jednymi z głównych założeń Karty Ateńskiej, dokumentu kształtującego myślenie pokoleń urbanistów i architektów. Fascynacja jej twórców motoryzacją i zaletami indywidualnego transportu doprowadziły w efekcie do stworzenia modelu miasta dla samochodów. Przyjęcie tych założeń stało się punktem wyjścia do akceptacji szeregu komunikacyjnych ingerencji w zabytkowe struktury miast. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest określenie doktrynalnych przesłanek oraz analiza zjawisk w odbudowywanych miastach historycznych z punktu widzenia rozwiązań komunikacyjnych. W artykule omówiono założenia doktrynalne, ewolucję transportu i motoryzacji. Opisano także rozwój komunikacji w polskich miastach oraz ich wpływ na przekształcenia historycznie ukształtowanych obszarów śródmiejskich.

The reconstruction and modernization of many inner-city complexes in Polish cities - started at the beginning of the 1960s - was largely based on Western models and experiences, as well as the doctrine of intensive development and industrialization. Movement and transport were one of the main assumptions of the Athens Charter, a document shaping the thinking of generations of urban planners and architects. Its creators, fascinated with motorization and the advantages of individual transport, designed a model of a city for cars. The adoption of these assumptions became the starting point for the acceptance of a number of transport interventions in the historic structures of cities. The aim of this article is to define the doctrinal premises and to analyze the phenomena in the reconstructed historical cities in terms of communication solutions. The article discusses the doctrinal assumptions, the evolution of transport and motorization, and describes the development of urban transport in Polish cities, as well as their impact on the transformation of historically shaped downtown areas.

Legal regulations in the field of cultural heritage protection in Poland in the years 1944-1989 in terms of cultural security of the country

The article attempts to analyze the meaning of legal regulations developed in the field of cultural heritage protection in the years 1944-1989. It has been argued that these years were markedly different in terms of law in the sphere of cultural heritage protection than the period between 1918 and 1939 analyzed by the author in another article. The author decided to refer to legal acts and literature in the form of elaborations and magazines in the field of monuments protection. The specificity of the chosen subject and problem required the choice of a scientific method in the form of legal acts analysis, supported by literature review. The presented information shows that the period between 1944 and 1989 was characterized by a different approach of the Polish authorities towards the issue of cultural heritage protection in comparison to the years 1918-1939. The mentioned protection had an instrumental character and was one of the political-ideological tools influencing the society. Furthermore, the growth of legal protection of cultural assets in the age of the PRL took place in the conditions of centralized administration that adopted the idea of social distribution of many such assets, which led to devastation of numerous immovable monuments and sometimes also the antique furnishings. All the introduced legal regulations required a thorough change and redefinition of the legal status after the political-structural transformation of 1989.
