In the paper an effective method for recycling of technological and after-use wastes made of soft poly(vinyl chloride) was described. An original process of grinding and rolling of PVC wastes resulting from the manufacturing of polymer film was presented. The received polymer recycling film underwent selected tests of characteristics and physical properties. Such characteristics as hardness, flexibility, tear and tension strength, elongation at break, water absorption and flamma-bility were determined. Then the film underwent natural climatic ageing and the appropriate characteristics were determined after five- and ten-year of ageing period and finally their values were forecast for twenty five years of usage.
