This paper shows practical aspect in application commercial software to analysis data concerning information from telecommunication network. The following items are discussed: example of network estimation methodology, the main advantages of network testing system delivering information concerning quality of service (QoS) and network performance (NP) from the user's perspective, general testing system description and data analysis model and example forms of presentation.

Przedstawiono zintegrowaną platformę przeznaczoną do realizacji usług internetowych, umożliwiającą przekształcenie systemu komutacyjnego EWSD w system EWSD InterNode, który jest bramą pomiędzy siecią PSTN/ISDN a Internetem. Opisane rozwiązanie zapewnia stopniowy rozwój abonenckiego dostępu szerokopasmowego wykorzystując zainstalowaną wąskopasmową infrastrukturę PSTN/ISDN. System EWSD InterNode umożliwia integrację sieci PSTN/ISDN z siecią Internet w jednolitą multimedialną sieć przyszłości.

In this paper an integrated Internet service platform has been presented that turns EWSD switching system into an EWSD InterNode, the optimised gateway between PSTN/ISDN and the Internet. The presented approach enables evolutionary extension for broadband subscriber access starting from the installed narrowband infrastructure in the PSTN/ISDN. This way, the EWSD InterNode contributes to a convergence between PSTN/ISDN and the Internet towards a seamless multimedia network of the future.
