For a long time there was not in the Polish standards document directory allowing the design of composite floors for corrugated steel sheets. The introduction, as applicable, European standards (Eurocodes) changed this situation. PN-EN 1994-1-1: Eurocode 4 provides guidance for the design of steel and concrete structural components, including the floor slabs. The authors presented a detailed recommendation and guidelines for checking the status of ultimate limit states in slabs of composite steel and concrete. They concern the bending load conditions, lateral and longitudinal shear.
