In this paper TPM and PAMCO coefficients were shortly characterised. On the basis of TPM coefficients its effectiveness was estimated. Thanks to using time and PAMCO coefficients, the utilization of working time machines was researched. Moreover, there a correlation between TPM coefficient and the quality level was examined. A histogram was drawn up in order to illustrate the distribution. The obtained results allowed to evaluate the effectiveness of the machine. The period of research embraced fifty-two weeks (1 year) and the object of the analysis is the injection moulding machine.

W artykule przedstawiono główne założenia metody PAMCO, którą wykorzystuje się do oceny efektywności maszyn i urządzeń produkcyjnych. Celem artykułu jest wykorzystanie tej metody do oceny efektywności ciągu walcowniczego. Badaniem objęto pięć kolejnych lat funkcjonowania walcowni. Pokazano, że wskaźniki w przeprowadzonej analizie w większości przypadków przekraczają zalecane wymagania.

In the paper main assumption of the PAMCO method which is used to assessing the efficiency of production machinery and equipment was presented. The purpose of the paper was to use this method to assess the effectiveness of the rolling mill train. The research included five consecutive years of the rolling mill functioning. It was shown that the factors in the performed analysis in most cases exceed the recommended requirements.
