Artykuł przedstawia wyniki analizy porównawczej dotyczącej metod oceny jakości oddawania barw źródeł światła. Do porównania jakości oddawania barw zastosowano trzy metody tj. CIE Ra, NIST CQS i IES TM 30-15. Ocena jakości uzyskanych danych została przeprowadzona dla typowych świetlówek oraz lamp typu LED. W pracy wykazano, że metoda IES TM 30-15, w porównaniu z metodami CIE Ra oraz CQS, daje użytkownikowi największą liczbę informacji o jakości barwnej danego światła i umożliwia łatwą interpretację wyników, a tym samym lepsze możliwości oceny jakości danej lampy.

This paper presents the results of a comparative analysis methods of assessing the quality of color rendering of light sources. Three typical methods, CIE Ra, NIST CQS and IES TM 30-15, were used to compare the quality of color rendering. Quality assessment of the obtained data was made for typical fluorescent and LED lamps. The results given in the paper demonstrates that the calculated data with agreement of IES TM 30-15, compared to the calculations results of CIE Ra and CQS methods, gives the greatest amount of useful information about the color quality of light source and allows easy interpretation of the results and thus better possibilities for evaluating the quality of a light source. Additionally is possible put the statement that evaluation of color rendering of light source with tunable spectral power distribution (i.e. RGB LED) is difficult to interpret. Based on the data presented in this article, it can be stated that in this type of light sources the results obtained by the IES TM 15-30 method seem to be the most reliable. The other issue is with typical fluorescent lamp. In this case their color rendering can be evaluated with good results by any of presented method.
