W artykule przedstawiono sposób porównywania wyników badań, analizy przyczyn i efektów uszkodzeń oraz szacowania łącznych zagrożeń korozyjnych konstrukcji metodą Multi Mapping.

The ageing concrete infrastructure demands increasing maintenance expenditure. Sensible management in solving of maintenance problems require new and complex diagnostic assistance. Generally only the corrosion state of the reinforcement is determined by Potential Mapping for all the available concrete surfaces of the investigated element. It is suggested that the methodology applied in the corrosion investigations should be developed to describe the results received by means of other investigation methods. The new approach is named Multi Mapping.The key steps in realization of investigations applying the Multi Mapping method are: – determination of factors influencing investigated phenomena and his effects, – lay out of the map reflecting distribution of factors and effects in the investigated zone, – unification of the map in result of conversion into the common units: evaluation of hazard d (in percentage) of arising of deterioration factor in critical value causing destruction or events of destruction process, – matching of the map reflecting different deterioration factors, effects of destruction or factors and effects of destruction together, – quantitative evaluation of the casual-effect of investigated phenomena and evaluation of the global hazard for structure.
