It is very common to elongate exploitation periods of temporary bridges, which are indicated in polish law. Those bridges are especially prone to unfavourable dynamic loading, but the question arise, if it is correct to determine strict period of their exploitation? It disqualifies possibility of individual approach for particular object, but on the other hand induces bridge's administrator to planning the reconstruction temporary bridge to permanent one. In the paper authors presented own opinion on necessity of preparing expertises, in which one should point trouble spots in every structure, as well as safe period of further use. Moreover, every modification of system solutions and all maintenance works influencing structure should be prefaced by expert opinion
