Estimation of eroded soil transport within watershed is very important for localization and design of hydrotechnical facilities and infrastructure. The paper presents an application of the original USLE method for Bystrzyca Dusznicka river for coefficients defined in raster, and for two modifications developed by Alex G. Barrios and Jianguo Ma. Different methods of L and S coefficient determination are also described. Estimation of eroded soil transport was done by the PARUSLE program using GIS data. Two divisions of the Bystrzyca Dusznicka river watershed were adopted. The first one is related to the partial watersheds division and direct stream supply area, the second is related to GIS and divides whole watershed into square cells of 15-m size. Calculated values of soil erosion intensity for all mentioned versions of USLE are presented and total mass of eroded soil is estimated. After analysis of results it was stated that results from USLE (according Alex Barrios modifications) are significantly different from other methods. One of the reasons can be the fact that the calculations were made for a mountains watershed (determination of the L-S product). The grounds for this modification should be tested on other watersheds. This problem needs further analysis.
