Analiza zagadnień geotechnicznych jest procesem złożonym, wymagającym uwzględnienia geometrii konstrukcji, zmienności przekazywanych oddziaływań w czasie, etapowania procesu budowlanego oraz wieloaspektowego zachowania ośrodka gruntowego. Odpowiednio zaprojektowane wzmocnienie podłoża gwarantuje bezpieczne i ekonomiczne rozwiązanie problemu posadowienia elektrowni wiatrowych.

Designing the foundations of wind turbines is a complicated issue. Wind power stations should be classified in III geotechnical category as the ‘objects of energy industry’. This means that during the foundation design stage of such objects, attention should be paid to the data received for design, especially the quality and type of earth material assessment. Due to the complexity of statistical and dynamical issues in the aforementioned construction, the role of designers and the geotechnical environment is raising the investors’ interest in the issues related to the assessment of earth surfaces which form the output material for designing wind towers’ foundations. Adequately designed reinforcement of the surface guarantees safe and economical solution to the issue of foundation.
