In the process of the analysis of the topic, it was found that there is strong competition within the SME sector. The most effective competitive instruments are: quality of services or supplied products, established reputation, quick and timely order processing, positive relationships with suppliers and the knowledge and practical skills. Therefore, company management becomes more complicated. For this reason the managers must constantly improve their skills.
