The standard of living, just like infrastructure or investment attractiveness becomes the factor increasing the competitiveness of individual regions. The purpose of this article is to classify the counties in the Lubuskie voivodeship in relation to the standard of living in 2008. Moreover, this article includes a division into four groups of counties characterized by a similar standard of living. Also, the analysis of correlation between particular determinants of the standard of living and synthetic measure of living standards, which were determined based on Hellwig measure, was made.

Poziom życia mieszkańców, podobnie jak infrastruktura czy atrakcyjność inwestycyjna, staje się czynnikiem zwiększającym konkurencyjność poszczególnych regionów. Celem artykułu jest klasyfikacja powiatów wchodzących w skład województwa lubuskiego ze względu na poziom życia mieszkańców w 2008 r. Ponadto wyodrębniono 4 grupy powiatów charakteryzujących się podobnym poziomem życia mieszkańców oraz dokonano analizy korelacji pomiędzy poszczególnymi dereminantami poziomu życia i syntetycznym miernikiem poziomu życia, który wyznaczono w oparciu o miarę rozwoju Hellwiga.

The paper consists of a description of the concept of psychological capital and its components, the concept of sense of humour and research which examines the relation between them. The research has two phases. The first deals with the available literature. The second phase involves original research conducted by the author on a sample of 56 employees from IT companies. The research findings from the first phase are not supported by the research conducted in the second phase.

Praca zawiera wyjaśnienie koncepcji pozytywnego kapitału psychologicznego wraz z jego elementami składowymi, koncepcję pracowniczego poczucia humoru oraz badania dotyczące relacji pomiędzy tymi dwoma czynnikami. Proces badań obejmował dwie fazy. W pierwszej z nich ustalono, jakie badania były prowadzone w tym zakresie na świecie. W drugim etapie autorka przeprowadziła badania w formie wywiadów na próbie 56 pracowników branży informatycznej w województwie lubuskim. Wyniki badań wykonanych w fazie drugiej w znacznym stopniu nie potwierdziły wyników badań uzyskanych w fazie pierwszej.

Between the technical infrastructure and entrepreneurship development, there may be a kind of a feedback. The development of the technical infrastructure can determine the growth of entrepreneurship. On the other hand, the development of the entrepreneurship may contribute to the development of particular infrastructural elements. In the first part of the article characterized the selected items of the technical infrastructure and an analysis of entrepreneurship in rural areas Lubuskie province. In the second part, on the basis of statistical data examined the relationship between the development of technical infrastructure and entrepreneurship in rural areas Lubuskie province.

Pomiędzy rozwojem infrastruktury technicznej i przedsiębiorczością może występować swojego rodzaju sprzężenie zwrotne. Rozwój infrastruktury może determinować wzrost przedsiębiorczości. Z drugiej strony rozwój przedsiębiorczości może przyczynić się do rozbudowy poszczególnych elementów infrastrukturalnych. W pierwszej części artykułu scharakteryzowano wybrane elementy infrastruktury technicznej oraz dokonano analizy przedsiębiorczości w gminach wiejskich województwa lubuskiego. W części drugiej, na podstawie danych statystycznych zbadano zależność pomiędzy rozwojem infrastruktury technicznej i przedsiębiorczości w gminach wiejskich województwa lubuskiego.

The White Paper on European Transport Policy indicates on importance of balanced development of transportation, which promotes alternative transport to road one The water transport is one of such alternatives. Unfortunately, there is in Poland no enough use of potential of this kind of transport, and water routes do not fulfill huge economic part. The Odra River with tributaries is a basic waterway, which goes through the Lubuskie Voivodshipo This Voivodship is characterized by many rivers and water reservoirs and has the favourably shaped net of navigable river roads, what determines attractiveness of the region and is a factor of development of the Lubuskie.
