Dla użytkowników sprzętu rolniczego oraz jego producentów wysoce istotną cechą elementów roboczych pracujących w glebie jest ich odporność na ścieranie. Przeprowadzono badania trwałości i zużycia wybranych lemieszy płużnych produkowanych przez fabrykę Lemken. Elementy te pracowały podczas uprawy suchych oraz nawilgoconych gleb pylastych. Stwierdzono, że proces ścierania lemieszy przebiega odmiennie w zależności od stanu gleby. Stąd wytrzymałość elementów w czasie uprawy gleby nawilgoconej była kilkokrotnie większa niż przy orce tej samej gleby, ale charakteryzującej się obniżoną wilgotnością.

Abrasion resistance of tools working in soils depends on their quality and is highly appreciated by manulacturers and users of agricultural equipment. Investigations on abrasion resistance and wear of some chosen ploughshares produced by the Lemken manulacturer were carried out. These elements were working while cultivating both dry and moist silty soils. It was lound that the process of abrasive wear of shares runs differently considering the stale of the soil. It is why the resistance of the elements working in moist soil was several limes higher than while cultivating the same soil but with lowered moisture content.
