A method for the reconstruction of the dynamics of processes with discrete time, developed in our previous papers, has been applied for study the dynamics of concentration of sulfur dioxide in lower troposphere. For the analysis, recordings of sulfur dioxide concentration from four measurement stations located in Poland (two of them has been located in huge cities and two in rarely inhabited regions) were used. We managed to obtain the deterministic and stochastic component of this dynamics. In result, we estimate the lifetime of sulfur dioxide in troposphere and the increase of sulfur dioxide concentration influenced by anthropogenic sources.

A mathematical model was built of the motion of fertilizer particles on the spinning disc and in the air. The Langevin’s stochastic differential equation was applied to describe the random disturbances affecting fertilizer particles moving on the disc spreader. The verification of experimental results showed good agreement with the simulation results obtained from the stochastic model. Our results bring new cognitive value in the field of process modeling of mineral fertilizers spreading with disc spreaders and can be used to improve the existing spreaders as well as to design new ones.

Analysis of the human center of pressure (COP) trajectory allows quantification of the state of the postural controI system. In our consideration, as a model of COP sway, Langevin equation has been accepted. Using an analysis based on this equation, the friction coefficient and diffusion matrix have been obtained. The diffusion matrix is analysed using its trace, the angle, of rotation of the coordinate system making this matrix diagonal and the ratio nu of greater eigenvalue of this matrix to its trace. In the rotated coordinate system, with respect to the system defined by anteriorposterior and mediolateral directions, COP displacements, for time intervals shorter than 1 s, are uncorrelated. Eigenvalues of the diffusion matrix are diffusion coefficients in this coordinate system. For different populations, dependences between angle [...] and ratio nu have been found. The values of the diffusion coefficients in both directions of the rotated coordinate system were found to be closer one another, with the greater range of the variability of the angle of this rotation.

W pracy zbadano wpływ zaburzeń losowych na prędkość cząsteczek nawozu poruszających się wzdłuż łopatki rozsiewacza odśrodkowego. Do opisu ruchu cząsteczek nawozu wykorzystano stochastyczne równanie Langevina.

The effect of random fluctuation on the velocity of fertilizer particles moving along a vane of the centrifugal distributor was studied. The stochastic Langevin equation was used for description of the fertilizer particles motion.
