Prednáška je zameraná na prípravu nového územného plánu mesta Košicez hľadiska vecných cieľov a princípov, ktoré sa v jeho riešení uplatňujú, a z hľadiska metodického prístupu k jeho tvorbe. V prvej časti bude prednáška zameraná na charakteristiku mesta Košice, jeho polohu v prírodnom prostredí a úlohu v sídelnej štruktúre, vývoj mesta v jednotlivých obdobiach a spoločenských zriadeniach a vymenovanie pozitívnych a negatívnych faktorov mesta. V druhej časti bude prednáška zameraná na hlavné princípy a ciele, na ktorých je koncepcia tvorby nového územného plánu založená a charakteristiku novej metódy spracovania územného plánu.

The lecture is focused on the preparation of a new territorial plan of the city of Košice in terms of the objectives and principles used in its solution. The terms used in the creation of the methodical approach. The lecture will focus on the characteristics of the city of Košice. Its location in the natural environment. Its role in the settlement structure, the development of the city in particular periods and social institutions and the appointment of positive and negative factors of the city in the first part. In the second part of the lecture we will focus on the main principles and objectives underlying the concept of creating a new zoning plan established and characterization of a new method of processing land-use plan.

Celem badań była próba ujęcia opinii osób studiujących w Koszycach, dotyczących stanu utrzymania zabytkowych zabudowań miasta, kwestii ich własności, działań związanych z ochroną dziedzictwa kulturowego Koszyc oraz źródeł ich fi nansowania. W badaniach udział wzięło 114 osób, studentów Wydziału Architektury oraz Wydziału Budownictwa Technická Univerzita w Koszycach. Uzyskane odpowiedzi pozwalają ocenić, jaki jest stan świadomości, wiedza oraz zainteresowania studentów, dotyczące kluczowych kwestii związanych z ochroną dziedzictwa kulturowego Koszyc, a zwłaszcza zabytkowych budowli miejskich.

The aim of the research was an attempt to formulate the opinions of people studying in Kosice, regarding the condition of historical buildings of the city, question of their ownership, actions related to protection of the cultural heritage of Kosice, and sources of their financing. A total of 114 respondents were surveyed, they were students of the Faculty of Architecture and the Faculty of General Building of Technická Univerzita in Kosice. On the basis of the replies received, it is possible to assess the state of awareness, knowledge and interests of the students, concerning key issues connected with protection of the cultural heritage of Kosice, especially the historical urban architecture.

Początki średniowiecznych Koszyc możemy wiązać z funkcjonującą tu jeszcze przed lokacją miasta wsią rycerską. W II połowie XIV wieku w oparciu o nią w Koszycach zostaje ulokowane miasto. Jego forma przestrzenna wydaje się być ściśle związana ze skrzyżowaniem dwóch dróg handlowych. Pierwsza z nich – główna – to droga idąca od strony Krakowa w kierunku Sandomierza i dalej poprzez Lublin na Litwę. Druga z wymienionych dróg była traktem lokalnym łączącym osadnictwo na prawym brzegu Wisły poprzez Uście Solne, Morsko i Koszyce ze Skalbmierzem, Działoszycami i Jędrzejowem. Zastosowany przy okazji lokacji miasta plan zasadzał się na prostej ortogonalnej konstrukcji, której miejscem centralnym był czworoboczny rynek. Wokół niego rozmierzono w pojedynczym pasie 8 bloków zabudowy siedliskowej. Przy ich organizacji zastosowano znormalizowaną i ujednoliconą pod względem powierzchni działkę o wymiarach ok. 40 × 100 stóp.

The origins of medieval Koszyce can be associated with a knight’s village functioning here before the town’s foundation. In the 2nd half of the 14th century, a town was founded in Koszyce on the basis of the village. The spatial form of the town seems to be closely connected with the crossroads of the two trade routes. The first – main one – was the route running from Krakow in the direction of Sandomierz, and further through Lublin to Lithuania. The other was a local route linking the settlements on the right bank of the Vistula River, via Uście Solne, Morsko and Koszyce with Skalbmierz, Działoszyce and Jędrzejow. The plan applied during the town foundation was based on the simple orthogonal construction whose central point was a quadrangular market square. 8 settlement blocks were measured out around it in a single line. They were organized using a standardised and uniform, as far as its area was concerned, plot measuring app. 40 × 100 feet.

Trasa wyprawy biegła przez 11 krajów europejskich, a w tym artykule opisano pobyt w Rumunii i na Ukrainie oraz powrót przez Słowację.

The utilization of geothermal energy brings important benefits in the fields of environment, recreation and economics. This paper describe about evaluation of geothermal potential for resource utilization of geothermal potential in the northern part of Kośice town that presently serves as an urban recreation zone called Anicka. The following paper shows analysis of geothermal conditions in a suburb of Kośice town in Slovakia.

Wykorzystanie energii geotermalnej jest bardzo korzystne ze względów środowiskowych i ekonomicznych, a także istotne dla rekreacji. W artykule dokonano waloryzacji potencjału źródeł geotermalnych w północnej części miasta Koszyce. Jest to obecnie strefa rekreacyjna Anićka, służąca miastu Koszyce. Przedstawiono również warunki geotermalne okolic Koszyc na Słowacji.

The paper deals with the possibility of sewage gauge stand extension of Koszyce sewage treatment plant by installing the perpetual recorder. The examples of recorded data used for exemplification of hourly sewage variation in separate days and evaluation of sewer net imperviousness against incidental and infiltrating water have been presented.

In the discussions and considerations on the design of road network the data of volume and through traffic has an important role. In solving this problem the knowledge about its volume, direction and the percentage from the whole traffic volume is highly desirable. Therefore the effective determination of these characteristics is of a major importance. In the paper the data as results of special surveys of these characteristics, together with analysis of their development are described.

Konstrukcję przekrycia stanowi środkowy kratowy łuk rozpiętości 120 m, usytuowany na kierunku podłużnej osi hali, oraz kratowe wiązary dachowe oparte na tym łuku i przestrzennych słupach podpierających trybuny, rozmieszczone co 12 m. Opisano rozwiązanie konstrukcyjne hali oraz założenia analizy statycznej.

The new structure consists of an arch truss having 120 m span, located on the centreline of the hall and of truss girders supported on this arch and on tribune bearers every 12 m. The hall roof structure and assumptions for design analysis have been described.
