Purpose: The article aims to investigate and understand the impact of key employee skills and ICT tools on the organizational agility of companies. It seeks to explore how individual characteristics and competencies of employees, combined with technology, shape an organization's ability to adapt in a dynamically changing environment. Design/methodology/approach: The study employed a survey-based approach, collecting data from 930 respondents using the CAWI technique. It focused on analyzing the impact of employee skills and ICT tools on organizational agility. Findings: The research revealed a strong correlation between employee skills in project management and organizational agility. It emphasized the significance of integrating technical skills with soft skills for enhancing agility. Research limitations/implications: The study's limitations include its reliance on a survey method, potential non-representativeness of the sample across all sectors, and focus mainly on employee skills and ICT tools. Practical implications: The findings suggest that organizations should invest in both ICT tools and employee skills development, particularly in areas of project management, to enhance organizational agility. Social implications: The research highlights the importance of developing employee skills and using ICT tools in response to dynamic market changes, impacting the way organizations manage and adapt to change. Originality/value: This study contributes new insights into the relationship between employee skills, ICT tools, and organizational agility, offering a comprehensive analysis of how these elements interact in a modern business context.

W artykule opisano wybrane wyniki badań, przeprowadzonych w latach 2016–2017 w ramach międzynarodowej sieci badawczej IRNet (www.irnet.us.edu.pl) przez naukowców z instytucji partnerskich z różnych krajów. Wyniki te dotyczą analizy profilu działalności badawczej i jej oceny uzyskanej na Uniwersytecie Śląskim (Polska) i Uniwersytecie im. Borysa Grinchenki w Kijowie (Ukraina). Badania były prowadzone wśród wykładowców, doktorantów i studentów studiów I stopnia.

Content available remote The use of ICT tools for teaching foreign languages in the military sector
EN
The article explores the issue of foreign language teaching using commercially available new technology tools that are becoming more and more active in the everyday life of the learner and the teacher, especially in the military sector. Interactive teaching has become an integral part of the process of learning and teaching the language. Interactive ICT education is a modern and effective form of education. It maximises students’ commitment and activity and gives them the opportunity to choose their own paths of learning and development, tailored to their abilities. By participating in the classes, students develop a learning style similar to the research process that improves teaching effectiveness1. Using electronic information resources requires the use of modern IT tools, information and multimedia techniques. Experimental research into the effectiveness of information technology in a military school education has demonstrated that the use of these technologies is conducive to: high efficiency in the transmission of didactic content and skills by combining education and entertainment in one act, enabling simultaneous activation of several perceptual channels simultaneously. The learning process takes into account the individual pace and degree of real autonomy of learning foreign languages in an active and creative way, increasing the motivation of students to develop the learner’s cognitive abilities. It can also contribute to national safety to a great extent.

Celem artykułu było opracowanie i przedstawienie koncepcji metodyki ewaluacji wykorzystania narzędzi ICT w e-zdrowiu. Autorzy metodyki oparli jej budowę na pięciu etapach, obejmujących cykl analizy (1. i 2. etap metodyki), syntezy (3. etap metodyki) i oceny narzędzi ICT (4. i 5. etap metodyki) w e-zdrowiu z zastosowaniem odpowiednich metod badawczych. Autorzy omówili kolejne etapy metodyki oraz scharakteryzowali poszczególne metody badawcze zastosowane w ramach etapów: analizę źródeł literaturowych, metody kreatywnego myślenia, metody wspomagające pracę grupową oraz metody ankietowe i wizualizację wyników badań. Zaproponowana metodyka badawcza uwzględnia sprzężenie zwrotne: piąty etap metodyki stanowi punkt wyjścia do doskonalenia metodyki i powrotu do pierwszego etapu. Autorzy zaproponowali koncepcję dalszych badań związanych z budową modelu akceptacji narzędzi ICT w e-zdrowiu w kontekście ich funkcjonalności dla użytkownika końcowego.

The aim of the article was to present the methodology of evaluation of the use of ICT tools in e-health. The authors based their methodology on five stages, including cycle of analysis (first and second step of methodology), synthesis (third step of methodology) and evaluation of ICT tools (fourth and fifth step of methodology) in e-health, using appropriate research methods. The authors discussed the following steps of the methodology and characterized the different research methods used in the context of stages: analysis of literature sources, methods of creative thinking, collaboration methods, survey methods, and visualization of test results. The proposed research methodology takes into account feedback: fifth step of the methodology provides a starting point for improving the methodology and return to the first stage. The authors have proposed the idea of further studies related to the construction of a model of acceptance of ICT tools in the e-health in terms of their functionality to the end user.

EN
Dispersing sources generating power in the vicinity of the prosument’s residence connected to the microgrid allows to optimize the cost of acquiring the primary energy and to lower the level of the energy losses due to energy transfer over long distances. The challenging problem is how to solve the ensuring the continuity of energy supply and consumption in different states of grid, caused by a lack of natural primary source of energy. These processes cause additional problems of coordination and optimization of power generation in the local sources. An ICT system is supporting both processes in equipment as well as program layer.
