The role of flotation frothing agents in the flotation process is generally known, especially due to the size of bubbles and the stability of the foam formed. In recent years, a number of new reagents have been introduced. The purpose of this article is to present a comprehensive database containing the characteristics of surfactant families discussed using the parameter of the so called the Critical Coalescence Concentration (CCC). This article presents an analysis of the experimental data set by the author and the experimental data published in the literature.

The synthesis of polyglycerol esters of lauric (dodecanoic) acid was investigated. The effect of the temperature, the catalyst concentration and the time of the reaction on glycerol polymerization and polyglycerol esterification was examined. It has been shown that changes of this parameters influenced the composition of emulsifiers and the HLB value. It was found that mixtures of mono-, di-, triacylglycerols and esters of di- and triglycerols are the products of esterification. The obtained emulsifiers with the HLB values from 4.9 - 14.0 may be used to stabilize the O/W and W/O emulsions. For the preparation of emulsifiers - ester of polyglycerols and fatty acids, renewable fatty raw materials may be used.

Określono właściwości emulsji O/W stabilizowanych modyfikowanymi emulgatorami acyloglicerolowymi syntezowanymi metodą programowanej estryfikacji glicerolu kwasami tłuszczowymi. Zbadano wpływ kompozycji emulgatorów na ich właściwości hydrofilowo - lipofilowe i efektywność w modelowych układach emulsyjnych. Sporządzono wykresy fazowe, oszacowano trwałość, dyspersję i właściwości reologiczne badanych emulsji.

Modified acylglycerol emulsifiers with programmed HLB values were synthesised by esterification of glycerol with fatty acids in the presence of fatty acid sodium soaps. The modification of surface activity of the emulsifier was obtained by programming monoacylglycerol and sodium soap content. The effectiveness of the synthesised emulsifiers was investigated in model emulsion systems. The influence of the phase volume ratio on emulsion inversion, stability, droplet size and rheological properties of emulsion were studied.

Metodą spektroskopową (HNMR) oznaczono zawartość segmentów oksyetylenowych w strukturze Rofamów, Rokacetów i Rokanoli, a także liczbową wartość HLB i H/L. Powyższe odniesiono do wielkości fizyko-chemicznych określających aktywność powierzchniową tenzydów. Metodę Rosena wykorzystano do oceny właściwości aplikacyjnych ( emulgatory, solubilizatory, promotory przejścia przezskórnego) badanych klas niejonowych tenzydów.

The content of oxyetylene segments - [CH2CH2O]n - in the structure of polyoxyethylene - mono - and -polioles, as well as numerical values of HLB and H/L were determined by means of (HNMR) spectroscopic methods. The above parameters were related to - chemical values characterizing the surface activity of Rokanols, Rokwinols, Rofam's and Rokacet.

Opracowano nowoczesną technologię wytwarzania stałych doustnych postaci leku - tabletek matrycowych o geometrycznie zmiennym czasie rozpadu, zawierające lipofilową substancję biologicznie czynną oraz odpowiedni strukturalnie związek powierzchniowo czynny. Dobór solubilizatora został poprzedzony wnikliwymi fizykochemicznymi badaniami podstawowymi i aplikacyjnymi w zakresie jednorodności chemicznej, zdolności do emulgowania i solubilizowania, rozpuszczalności i toksyczności. Powyższe dało asumpt do opracowania wariantowych składów formulacyjnych tabletek zawierających jako lipofilową substancję leczniczą - pochodne kwasu fibrowego. Gotowe masy tabletkowe poddano badaniom granulometrycznym, fazy farmaceutyczne poddano farmakopealnej ocenie dostępności farmaceutycznej wybranymi metodami opisanymi w literaturze w zmiennych warunkach adjustowanej wartości pH medium.

In the paper a modern technology of manufacturing solid oral form of drug - matrix tablets with various geometry dissolution time, contain a biologically active lipophilic substance and a convenient tensed is presented. The choice of tensed was done after fundamental and applied physicochemical researches in the area of chemical homogeneity, and ability for emulgation, solubilization and toxicity. These research gave inducement to design of variant recipes of tablets containing as lipophilic biologically active substances - derivatives of fibric acid. Prepared tablet masses were put to the granulometric tests, and form of drugs were put to pharmakopoeinig tests of pharmaceutical availability.
