Purpose: In this paper results of experience of influence a structure (amorphous and amorphous after structural relaxation) on the magnetic properties (the initial magnetic permeability mu p, the magnetic permeability mu in function magnetic field H, the coercive field Hc, the remanence Br and the saturation induction Bs) on (Fe1-xCox)73.5Cu1Nb3Si13.5B9(X=10;30;40) alloys have been presented. Design/methodology/approach: The material was obtained by the method of rapid cooling from liquid phase. The measurements of structure were made on the magnetic balance, the X-ray diffraction and the moessbauer measurements. The measurements of the magnetic properties were made on the Maxwell-Wien bridge, the fluxometr and the VSM - Vibrating Sample Magnetometer. Findings: The results allowed defining that are significant dependence between the magnetic properties and the structure of the material. Research limitations/implications: Due to the high influence of the cobalt on the magnetic properties of the material further research should be undertaken. Practical implications: The measurements of allows give information to the industry how affect on the magnetic properties of alloys by adequate the heat treatment. Originality/value: The Finemet is very attractive due to his excellent the soft magnetic properties. The problem of his application in higher temperature of application and improvement his magnetic properties have been presented.

Purpose: In this paper results of experience of influence a structure (amorphous, amorphous after structural relaxation and nanocrystal) and influence a corrosion medium, which was 1 M solution NaCl, on magnetic properties (initial magnetic permeability μp, relative magnetic permeability μw, coercive field Hc, remanence Br and saturation magnetisation Bs) on Fe63.5Co10Cu1Nb3Si13.5B9 alloy have been presented. Design/methodology/approach: The material was obtained by the method of rapid cooling from liquid phase. The measurements of structure were made on the magnetic balance, the X-ray diffraction. Moreover comparison of the changes of their magnetic properties due to influence of corrosion medium Na2SO4 has been done. Przedstawiono wyniki badań dotyczących sposobu wytwarzania stopu Finemet (Fe73,5Cu1Nb3Si13,5B9) oraz kształtowania jego struktury i wynikających z niej znakomitych właściwości magnetycznie miękkich. Na uwagę zasługują wyniki badań wpływu prędkości chłodzenia po obróbce cieplnej taśmy (MS) na strukturę i przenikalność magnetyczną stopu oraz badania wpływu pola magnetycznego działającego w czasie obróbki cieplnej na strukturę domenową i kształt pętli histerezy. Ponadto zamieszczono wyniki badań wpływu częstotliwości pola magnesującego na zmiany niektórych parametrów magnetycznych (Bm, Ps, Hc, Br).

Results of a research work related to preparation of the Finemet-type Fe73,5Cu1Nb3Si13,5B9 alloy and formation of its structure resulting in excellent soft magnetic properties have been presented. Particularly interesting are results of a study of an effect of the cooling rate for a ribbon after heat treatment on the structure and magnetic permeability of the alloy, and of a study of the influence of the magnetic field present during heat treatment on the domain structure and shape of the hysteresis loop. Moreover, results of the investigation on magnetizing field frequency dependence of the main magnetic parameters, i.e. Bm, Ps, Hc and Br, have been presented.
